Hell naw. As a matter of fact, I was thinking about asking Hughes to let SU have Brian Green during our game. Man dont ever say that again. That even hurt to hear.

TSU still sucks, but they don't really suck as bad as PV, but it probably has something to do with Texas doing everything BIG!!!

SU sucks, but they dont really suck that bad cause they drove the ball down the field against Tulane, they just didnt feel like scoring.
 



Don't worry Jaguar fans. I'll be the starting quarterback when play PV. I can see the headline now:

"Drunkard From The Stands Lights PV for 6 Touchdowns in First Quarter"

In order words, it doesn't matter "who" or how "sorry" our quarterback is. "Anybody" or "everybody" beats PV the "nobody".

This is what happens when you allow a team to lose with dignity.
 
Looks like A&M can't even find a QB to lead them to a TD in scrimmage.

Just like they couldn't find one at last year's Magic City Classic.

Will yall finally admit that yall just don't have an offense or will yall blame it on Cooper again?

And I don't think those you have down there are exactly setting the world on fire, are they? As I said, Darnell, aka "Einstein" Kennedy has packed his brains (in a jar) and headed for other locales, so who will pass the pigskin for the Hornets? Cole isn't very happy down there in "da Gump" is he? Will he stay for the whole season, or pack his bags before October? Cooper is gone, so his name is no longer spoken. How's YOUR offense looking this year? Kennedy took 80% of it with him!

Talk about sweeping around your own weightroom........

Hell, I know our offense didn't produce last year, but I'm not gonna even go into why (AGAIN). ;)

But we played y'all ONCE, so you only can really harp on ONE game...get it?

We played EVERYBODY dayum near the same way, so you really have nothing to brag about. Last year was TERRIBLE! It's over, and that's behind us.

You KNOW it's behind us...that's why you're tryin' to hold on to your smack just a little bit longer! :D

Besides, this discussion is not just about our offense versus your offense in the MCC, look at other comparisons.

Against two of the best teams in the the SWAC: Bama State scored 61 points on JSU on their homecoming, you clowns only managed 14 point on them at home! Against Grambling, Bama State scored 45 and 38 points respectively in two games, your pathetic offense managed only 7 points.

If you don't see it now, don't worry about it. You'll see soon enough.

Our offense wasn't depleted...we brought back most of what we had from the PREVIOUS season (the one where we whipped Y'ALLS azz). THAT'S what was messed up about last year. It wasn't the players, it was....:mad:

But anyway, that team-to-team is garbage, and you know it!

Case in point: 2000....y'all beat JSU, JSU beat us...and WE beat y'all. Anybody who knows football knows that that mickey mouse logic of "we did better against them than you, so we will beat you" doesn't hold too much weight anyway.

But like I said:
Do you HONESTLY think that you'll see a repeat performance in THIS YEAR'S MCC? :)

A good system is in place. True, Kennedy is gone. But the system is there. Cole's offense has always had a good QB. Just because he'll have a new one, don't fool yourself into thinking the QB and offense won't be good.

Still find it unbelievable that the A&M crowd is questioning somebody's QB or somebody's offense. Damn!

btw, did the true freshman beat out your returning QBs (you know, the ones who can't lead a TD drive?)

Gunn, locked in a battle with Tim Robinson and Johnny Keith to be Alabama A&M's starting quarterback against Jacksonville State on Aug. 31, will continue to work with the first offense when the Bulldogs return to practice today, coach Anthony Jones said Sunday.

After grading the film from Saturday's scrimmage, Jones didn't give Gunn or the other two quarterbacks ringing endorsements.

''They're still where they were,'' he said. ''We've got to get better there.''

Neither Gunn nor Robinson engineered a touchdown drive during the full-scale portion of the scrimmage
