it is but thats the reality of this thing but the money comes from the NCAA tourney revenueIsn't that just more expenses for the schools? I get it that maybe you want all 12 Universities engaged in the tournament , but does the money filter down to those bottom 4 schools or is it just an extra expense to their budgets?
but once again - you invite the last 4 out to the party and they killed the bracket - those teams get an extra day to play on the court and get the nerves out as you also saw AAMU almost falter on the women's side - BCU's season means absolutely nothing now unortunately - they have to look at protecting the top seeds better in the future and give byes to the semifinals or make the bottom 4 host games at home get their travel started earlier to develop some type of disadvantage of finishing low
