I said this last year and got a thread started about me on the Smack Board smh (as long it's the usual JSU/SU/GSU pissing match everything is cool). Nothing wrong with smack but some of us actually like to discuss football and basketball in here.

Common sense would tell you that they (JSU) will win 4-5 games at the most this year but the non-sports guy (who doesn't even go to games) will troll you into believing they are one of the top teams in FCS

4-5 games? With an offense that averaged only 25 a game but D gave up 30+...we only needed a decent defense and we'd have won 7 games last year. That's common sense but carry on

Sounds like band person behavior. Jokers think the punter is a "quarter" back because he's way behind the LOS but wanna throw a sports conversation off the tracks.

You mean the same common sense yall shoved down our throats last year and made Comegy sound like Bell but praised Bobby Rush on your way to 5 wins which only should have been 3 if FAMU would have knocked the ball down and PB would have finished the job in regulation? Or the same common sense in which yall praised OMJ for paying attention to detail but your team (which won 8 games in 2013 and one foot in bounds from winning the SWAC) regressed? Your team can score but defense is poo. And I know a poo defense because we had one last year as well.

Folks read and see what they want and reply to what they wana reply to smh. Ain't no other schools ever had bad years or teams in the SWAC besides JSU seem like.

Says one of the posters known for not only sweeping around other people's front doors but telling them how to run their own house while neglecting their own.

This is (an attempt) at football discussion (sticking to the title of the thread), not the trolling and boasting that yall do to avoid reality in any thread involving SU. Alabama State, Valley, Alcorn and Grambling.

And you're attempting to help keep from trolling right? So let's talk about valley football. Yall ain't seen a championship since joining the SWAC, so what yall doin to fix that? What strides yall makin to get there? Yall got yall second win from us in the last 20 years, aside from beating SU in 2012 and we all know why yall won those two games, yet you wana boast and get on here talkin football like valley done became a top SWAC school lol. Ohhhhhhh.......

No. Trolling is when jsu folks say something positive about the team (no matter how boastful we sound) and a non jsu fan tells us we'll only win five games. THAT'S trolling. No matter what we say (positive) about the team y'all will feel some type of way because you WANT us to only win five games. THAT'S the reality. No way would i say "mvsu will only win 1 game despite good recruiting because they lost their previous coordinatoor(s) and hired trash". Because, that's not an intelligent discussion technique. The reality is, we won't be worse this year than last year or even as bad.

Man, yall preaching this mornin for real. Everybody wana point the finger at JSU about everything we say even though we are being positive about our team but don't wana look at what they saying about us. But like you said, we obviously are the ones trolling. Ain't our fault they let TP get under their skin when in fact they know that's what he's most likely trying to do. Smh. For them to be so grown and know so much they have a lot of sense.

You CLAIM to want to talk football but you have a team that ain't even TIED for first or even second the EAST in what 6-7 years as the top team? WOW...

How do I derail every thread? I just spoke the truth. Your team finished the year 0-3. Where do you get this hope from? The best thing you did all year was beat a down JSU team. When is the last time you beat us two years in a row? Oh yeah.. **** was the coach. You beat us one year and then we kick ur azz 3-4 years in a row.

What common sense will tell us why JSU will only win 4-5 game this year. I will be waiting on that response... LOL Common sense only tells me one thing... Valley will be dead last AGAIN. JSU finished third in the division last year. So why can't we finish higher this year? I know third is LOW for JSU.. lol but dayum.. LOL

and IF you want to discuss football and basketball in here, do so. I ain't seen you "the sports guy" discuss sports yet. You just say Valley will be good/better every year and it never happens. Yet, I say JSU will be good every year and ONE time, we are not, I troll...

You do know that it was our defense that kept in in the game vs AlaState and that won us the games vs TxSo and Alcorn right? Alcorn couldn't move the ball. They got some points when starter went out.. they even took the lead. But in the end, JSU defense shut ALCORN down and put our offense the position to win the game. Alcorn had a TWO score lead in the 4th quarter. But I forgot, you only want to actually discuss football. Why don't you just be honest with yourself. You hate JSU and hate the fact that still believe in our team.
