This may be the dumbest statement I've heard on this board. 1 return TD, 2 block punts (1 for a TD.). The special teams kept SU in the game. Alcorn and Grambling were so afraid to kick to Willie Quinn it was laughable.

Its not laughable, just smart football. We acted a fool once and did it. Quickly learned our lesson and never did it again.

Congrats to Alcorn...Great run to that Champioship...it had ben building for a few years and I could see it...talent on the field was pretty much equal, but play calling made they difference and it takes a total effort to win a game of that magnitude and that's what you guys had...again congrats Champs!

The play calling for my jags was not bad at all. Alcorn just have a great defense and they have a very good defensive coordinator. People want to say Hopson is a great coach but I think he just surrounded himself with a great staff! As a jaguar fan you can't be mad, the future is really bright

Also Alcorn is very good up front which ultimately was the difference. They have a lot of guys there losing on that line of scrimmage

I agree that Alcorn has a pretty good defense and a really good Coaching staff, But our play calling has been suspect many a time this season and last...now that's the whole truth...to say that our play calling Saturday was not bad and that the only reason we couldn't move the ball was Alcorn's defense was too good would mean that they had no weaknesses and we tried everything....and that is no where near the case....Like I said before...to win a championship and a game of that magnitude you have to be good with talent and coaching and we were equal on the talent end and in just the play calling aspect of coaching we came up short...So the better overall team won Saturday...
