Michael Jordan either. The Heat got dragged. I wish people would finally stop trying to compare these guys to Jordan. LeBron James. Kobe Bryant. Just stop already.

Yeah, 'cause if Scottie Pippen had made 12 shots over three straight Finals games, including being 7 for 27 in the two most important games of the season like Wade did, Jordan would have not lost in the Finals, right?

@tomhaberstroh: Over the last 6 quarters, LeBron has outscored the rest of Miami's starters 48-46.

We all Wade will not use the excuse that his knees are bothering him. People will not admit that the Spurs was a better team than the Heat this year and should have won it last year. One player can only do so much and you are right, we don't even know if Jordan would have one more than one ring without Pippen!

Man, the spurs took Miami's soul. You can't blame Lebron for this. He had no help. None. Wade should just retire.

I never saw Larry Bird look as bad on the court as Lebron James did tonight. :smh:  :emlaugh:

That still won't end the debate and numerous discussions of LeBron being better than The Legend :xeye: :retard:

This in bold.

But didn't he leave Cleveland for this?

Listening to Mike and Mike this morning and it seems like they want to come back together (plus possibly add melo). If Lebron wants to get back to .500 he either needs to stop all this "playing with his friends" talk and get the best TEAM around him. After these Finals, everyone can see that they are not in the same league with the Spurs.

Exactly. He had the same "help" from last year. They lack a true big man and the pg play is garbage. Lewis and Bosh are pretty much the same type of players. When they are off, they're a nonfactor.

You shole is right!

This disaster should end the ridiculous notion of comparing Lebron to the all time greats. He is not. Period. The Heat got royally thrashed in this series.

I think everyone has to not overreact to the Heat losing the way they did. Sure, decisions and changes will be made. But you wanna know who Wade looked like in this series? Like Manu Ginobili in the Finals last year. They both looked old, broken and disoriented in defeat. Manu bounced back this year. Can Wade do the same?

LeBron is staying in Miami. The Big 3 is staying in Miami. They'll have to of course find some complementary pieces. But, Pat Riley has proven he can build a championship team. There is no other secure foundation in the league outside of San Antonio than Miami.

I don't see why the Heat can't get back to the Finals next year. As long as LeBron is there, they'll be the favorites in the East.

LeBron is the guy everyone says "makes his teammates better"... I am tired of the "no help" excuse.

D-Wade went 7 for 27 in the last two games. Their point guards going into Game 5 had been outscored 108 to 28 by the Spurs PGs. I don't know what anyone could expect LeBron to make that better.

He better develop a better jumper. All of those flops weren't working against the Spurs.

Wade was the most efficient shooter at his position this season. Wade is a 2-guard who can't shoot 3s, which hurts in the Heat's ability to extend their offense. But, Wade has always been a streaky shooter during his career.

Bruh he only played like 16 games Lol...come on, you really capin' for this dude..Wade is washed and should lose weight...he's too big to be playing the 2 position and he isn't quick any more...(knees are on struggle status)

Again, take LB off that team and see how far they would have went??

Not sure what Ginobilli's deal was last year, but Wade is clearly on the decline. He has severe knee issues that won't be getting any better. Is he still a good player? Sure, but as long as he's being paid megstar money, Miami will continue to get diminishing returns. Miami needs him to opt out and take lesser money in the worst way.

Having said that, he'd be a fool to opt out. $41M over the next 2 years is way more than he'd ever get on the open market.

He was burned out, played in the summer games...

I think 41 M is too much to paying dude now...he won't play 82 games and he's overweight to be playing the 2 position..he needs to drop some pounds....

I remember the Lakers, with a prime Magic Johnson, James Worthy, Byron Scott and an old but still effective Kareem, getting waxed 4-1 in the conference final by the Houston Rockets. It happens. Lebron is an all-time great by any measure. Is he Jordan? No one is. But he's definitely top-10 all time, I put him in the top 6.

This is real talk...I mean real talk

Ppl are putting dude in top 10...I don't see it..his jumper is not consistent, he don't take over games like Jordan...I mean he's playing with garbage players today...and what I mean, Kobe is a killer, he goes out and he gets his...LB goes out and if he doesn't get his it's an 'off night' per say, Kobe can have missed 21 shots in the game but he will get his and will his team, as if LB misses 21 shots, his team is no where in theg game and he's passive...

Too me if LB played back in the day, when Mj and the Reggie millers and Mitch Richmonds era, dude would literally be a big ass Anthony Mason..to me that's all he's is, just a bit more versatile than Anthony Mason..alot will say otherwise but LB just don't give me a Top 10 rank player of ALL-TIME, he's a top 10 player from 1996-present, but ALL-TIME..no..hell no

LOL @ Lebron as Anthony Mason. When was Mason ever a consistent 27-7-7 guy who doubled as his team's best Defender? On 5 Finals teams(which is something btw), Lebron's been the best scorer, distributor, rebounder and defender on the team. I've never seen a player asked to do as much as James does. As for his shooting, he shoots at a much higher percentage than even Bird did and his 3-pt percentage is on par with Jordan, if not higher. He's a top 10 payer for sure. Kobe is great but look what happened to the lakers when the talent dried up around him. He couldn't have carried those sorry Cavs teams like LeBron. And for a good part of his career he wasn't even the best player on his own team.

Jordan is the best ever by a mile, Magic is #2 in my book. After that you have Bird, Kareem, Russell and Lebron - rank in whatever order you wish but that's my top 6.

Would LB be a 27-7-7 guy in Jordan era is all I'm asking..would he be doing all of this with these caliber of players..again the NBA now is a waste with nothing but jump shooting players and fast guards..but when you have a mixture of both in Jordan era..with the 'real rules' in place...he would literally be an Anthony Mason type player....

I'm hard on LeBron but he damn sure shouldn't ever be compared to Anthony Mason. LOL Come on man.

So you telling me Lebron is better than Reggie Miller?? Hakeem?? or even Karl Marlone??
Just imagine those dudes in their prime playing in this league now...Hakeem and K. Marlone
