I really don't know. We'll all find out LDC weekend. :) But, if you're asking indirectly is Spivey in camp? Yes. :) Was he taking snaps? Yes. Is he the starter? I dunno. I'm guessing the coaches will make that call the Fri before LDC. :)

So much for <b>false</b> rumors on clearance, eh? :emlaugh: Also, there is NO AD that we'd rather have @ PVAMU right now than <b>Fred Washington</b>. He's the BEST thing to occur to PV's athletic dept in quite a while. :read: :read: :read: :read:

They actually believe they're going to win....:lmao:. If they could only get a TASTE of what's currently going on at the HF3 practice fields then they would know better.
 
No Hate just an observation. Does any news outlet cover you Texas teams? Sheesh no Notes what soever. Does your school paper cover the teams?

Prairie View A&M football: Q&A with RB Donald Babers

I interviewed Prairie View A&M running back Donald Babers on Tuesday for the Panthers' season preview, and I had plenty of material left over after writing the story.

Babers enters this season atop the depth chart at running back after rushing for a team-leading 482 yards with five touchdowns in 2007. Unfortunately for the Panthers, Babers was mostly sidelined with a ankle injury down the the stretch last season.

Here's a transcript of the interview:
RT: Donald, you were a part of the group that brought Prairie View its first winning season since 1976, but heading into this year, expectations are much different. You're expected to be good. How does it feel now knowing that you have those kinds of expectations placed on you?

DB: Well, you know a lot of people thought it was a fluke that we had a winning season. We know that we have a good team now because we believe in ourselves. We believe that nobody but Prairie View can beat us. I believe that we can actually compete against anybody in the country, even a Division I-A school.
That's a great accomplishment, our class coming in and changing the program around, and I believe that this year is going to be very successful. But we have to maintain what we did last year. We have to continue to progress and get better. I feel that our team actually sees that we're making some progress, and I believe that we're going to be successful.

RT: Speaking of progress, let's talk about the progress you guys made on offense towards the end of last season. How has the offense continued its progression?

DB: We were young, and I lot of guys really didn't have the confidence to play in a big college game. We got better at the end of the season because people started to get confident, they started to play better, and they started to believe in the system. This year, we have some incoming freshmen who have to learn some things, but I believe that once we jell as an offensive unit, it's going to be hard for us to be stopped.

Am I the only one who REALLY wants PV to beat the livin **** out of Texas So just to see what CLEB is post the day after lol
