Were you even born, then??? Dude SU sucked back then. JSU used to blast SU for homecoming until '89. Can't change history. No more than I can say that JSU didn't go 2-9 last year.

Homecoming '77
JSU 38 SU 0

'79
JSU 34 SU 0

'81
JSU 41 SU 0

'83
JSU 31 SU 0

'85
JSU 27 SU 9

'87
JSU 14 SU 0

'89
JSU 7 SU 21

Like I said, y'all sucked back then and y'all were our annual homecoming opponent until '93. Y'all beat us for homecoming in '89 and '91 and we dropped y'all.

More youthful ignorance vol. 1. :smh: :p

Your season ends on November 27 in New Orleans.

No need to post the SWAC championship game. The boys from Louisiana Normal College won't be going again in 2004.

December 11 has already been assigned to your big brother: SU

What kind of idiot compares the strength of Howard & Savannah to Allen & Lincoln :lmao:

ROBBER: memories, memories

Good brother Robber.

I see you have been reflecting back to the 80's. That's all well and good. Just remember SU was the team of the 90's.

And, no where during the time we sucked and yes we did when Gordon was the man at JSU, did we ever play a SWAC game using running time. What happened to you guys this year against A&M will never be lived done by JSU and will forever remian in the record books. Not even PVU or Valley sunk so low.

By the way has JSU ever won a SWAC championship game?
I guess since GSU and SU have been dominant you guys are going to have to go back to the 80's when JSU was the team, but then again PVU can reflect back to the 60's when thinking about the good old days.

JSU had to let A&M run the clock because of the whooping they were getting. I will always remeber that that Saturday during the 2003 football season. When A&M showed mercy by playing with a running clock.

I think PsychoJag was comparing Howard & Savannah to San Jose State & McNeese State.

The idiot is your AD.
I concur. Grambling might as well schedule Evangel and West Monroe. I'm sure those games could draw 8K.

Now here you go with this nonsense. I was making a point to Mighty Dog about homecoming scheduling. Explained why SU was our homecoming opponent back in the day and why they'd never be homecoming opponent again, no matter how bad y'all may get. Your boy PsychoJag calls me a liar and I just posted the scores to show that y'all weren't good back then. Has not one damn thing to do with how bad we were this past season, running clock, Bell's dumb coaching or anything else. Now, if you call me a liar about something I post, and I'm right, I will post something to prove I'm right. Don't get mad at me. I can take your post about SU being the team of the '90s, put it in quotes, and post "Scotlandville Lies" on it. Then you could easily post the titles SU won in the '90s to refute it.

Difference between your post and mine is that mine was within the context of the conversation going on. You, are just a myopic insecure Jag, who likes to retaliate to every post unfavorable to SU with utter garbage that has absolutely nothing to do with the topic at hand. I ain't mad atcha, tho. That's just how you was raised.

Its obvious that the principles of business, accounting, and marketing are not in use for AAMU. Maybe thats why they are still in the position they are in.

Obviously, you have forgotten that your AD hired the current village idiot that runs your program.

Now, what was that about principles of business? Then again, what about the principles of just plain common sense?

Robber,

I am beginning to notice something about thegooddoctor.

Here's another person that likes to reply to one topic by bringing up something totally irrelevant to the topic at hand. What does Bell's hire have to do with A&M scheduling SU for homecoming??? Nothing.

It has EVERYTHING to do with it, since your pet Grits decided to question business decisions. Why wouldn't that same question come into play about the hire of Bell? Was that SOUND business? Why would it not apply to you in that same regard?

You obviously chose to disregard the second statement in my post that read:

Now, what was that about principles of business? Then again, what about the principles of just plain common sense?

In the future, let's learn to read the ENTIRE post, rather than picking out parts that we think support our opinions.

That is all.

We hired Bell because we are not coons. You are a school that can't draw a crowd. The SWAC has no interest in you so you have to play one of the conferences biggest draws for a HC opponent.

Bell is an experiment that appears to have failed but I am still happy that we did not hire a c**n like Jones.

I don't think you realize what a stupid and assinine post that is, lobo. But then again, based on some of your previous posts, maybe you do. For a second there, I forgot to whom I was responding.

Well he has won just as many championships as a HC as Jones....ZERO.

....and lost more games in one season than Jones has in two....and probably THREE!! Goodness, you're dumb as rocks!

That is all.

October 23
Alabama State Birmingham (63rd MCC)

October 30
Open

Alum,

The Magic City Classic might be on October 30th.

Have you seen anything to indicate that it will be on the 23rd?

It could very well be on the 30th. I said that I can imagine that the AAMU schedule would shape up as such. It is not final as of yet. October, 2004 will have five Saturdays, and it depends on how the the rest of the schedules shape up.

You might be right but what does it matter?? There was only one SWAC champion. Bell is putting us in position to win the championship. Jones is putting you lower than you were with Cooper.

Winning two games (by a hair) on a twelve game schedule is putting you in a position to win championships? How in hell? The moral of your team by mid-season was such that some (if not all of your players,) were questioning why they were even there. Please explain how someone who brought this "gift" to your program, has put them in position to win championships.

Just when I thought I'd read the most ignorant comments from you, I now can't wait to hear your justification for this because I know that it will be the most ignorant to date!

No interest?

I guess that explains why they pursued us for membership for nearly ten years.

Give us some more of your "Bell-esque" statements.
