Funny that SU is the ONLY team in the SWAC that improved from last year, ok

That's what they don't get...every fan who keeps up with their team thinks that they are good, has the best staff, personnel etc. Not realizing you have to play teams that feel the same way. I'm looking at this 2014 squad and there is no doubt in my mind we have the tools in place to go all the way but so do 3-4 other teams.

Not THEY..... We and Obviously OTHERS feel that we have a Pretty Good Squad hitting the field in a few weeks. That's all that's been stated...

I hope so for your sake because that championship team was pretty bad...

I remember when you frauds were bragging on being undefeated in SWAC play. Then all hell (reality) broke loose. First, Alcorn State dragged, drubbed and drop kick you people all over the football stadium. And then to add insult to injury, Southern U added to the jsu legend of Buffalo in route to your infamous "Not So Top 10," exploits..........You can't make this stuff up! :emlaugh:

and then.. (why didn't you finish the story?)

Indeed it was!!! Some bad blood was boiling leading up to the game, were your boys competitive in their other games?

In my honest opinion, yes they were. On paper, we looked horrible last season, but if you look closely at that paper, you'll see that the majority of our games (SWAC)were very close losses:

UAPB vs. Alabama State (loss by 1 point)-we were trailing the Hornets 0-21 (at home in PB) in the 1stQ and made a huge comeback. I wasn't able to make that game but it didn't stop me from crying when we lost! (yes, I cried when we lost that game):bawling: UAPB 39 vs. Alabama State 40

UAPB vs. Alcorn- again, at home, we lost by 5 points......UAPB 16 vs. Alcorn 21

UAPB vs. Jackson-you were there; it seems like my boys just ran out of steam....lost by 9 points.........UAPB 33 vs. JSU 42

UAPB vs. Southern-our homecoming; we were doing very well when we fumbled the ball with less than 1 minute left in the game; SU capitalized on our mistake and won. I wasn't there for that game (it was my Daddy's 70th bday celebration)......UAPB 21 vs. SU 29

UAPB vs. MVSU-Itta Bena (their homecoming). It was our first win for the season and our boys played very well. I had a good time there. UAPB 38 vs. MVSU 18 (but they may get their revenge on us this season).

UAPB vs. GSU-in Pine Bluff. That game was a back-and-forth offensive game. The coach for GSU was one of our former defensive coaches (Dirt Winston). We outscored GSU, but barely...........UAPB 45 vs. GSU 42

UAPB vs. AAMU-in Normal, AL. Another offensive game, but my folks just couldn't get it done. Another disappointing loss by 8 points........UAPB 42 vs. AAMU 50

So, as you can see, we had some close games. Even our game against McNeese, our boys started off very well and were hanging in there with McNeese. The only 2 SWAC schools that totally shut us out were the 2 Texas schools (UAPB 28 vs. TXSU 41 and UAPB 23 vs. PVAMU 43 in Texas........I thought I was going to freeze at that game.....rain, cold, and windy).

We didn't have any defense last season. If our boys had gone to class and not caused us to become ineligible, I'm sure we would have won more than 2 games. I just hope they've learned their lesson and that we win at least half of our games this year.

I'm sure you will!!! Anything can happen in the SWAC

That's enough we beat ya'll azz and you haven't gotten over it. :emlaugh:

JSU beat su too and lost fewer SWAC games as well.
JSU would've been the better representative any how. I sure wouldn't want a team representing who got blowed the heck out two consecutive weeks. Just flat out embarassing.

That game is not til November. I don't think Alcorn will be in the title hunt.. but we shall see. ..and a 3rd place team with an inflated record that acts like Alcorn is commonly referred to as a team not used to anything (anything in this case = winning).

Remind me again that you....got the beatdown, lost ur hopes of winning the BNC, and being undefeated in SWAC... Make any excuse to make yourself feel better... the same number of points we put on them we put on yall, so find another argument.....

One game in five years and you show up? Have you no pride? Win the East, THEN show up. Until then.....

Yeah, Alcorn dragged them like rag dolls. :emlaugh:
