Well with our new staff and the way most schools want to beat Jsu every game will be hard lol. We will have to be ready every game. Barring injuries, we should surprise the doubters.

I can't call it, this is the SWAC so I would say every game. Since every other team is completely stacked I'm only speaking for the purple and gold, but I know historically PV's depth has always caused us to be 3 or 4 injuries away from feast or famine.

The SWAC-MEAC Challenge against N.C. A&T......

Why...well it's obvious...new coach with a newly installed offense with fresh young inexperienced faces against a team with a coach that has not only been there for a minute, but during his time, he has been in the upper echelon of the MEAC. Their fans are very hungry for their first MEAC title.

Even though we were picked last in our division, from what I've read in the Aggie fan forum, they are not taking us lightly. They really shouldn't. We rarely have bad seasons like we did last year. Even our worst seasons are better than some. When we do have a bad season, we never stay down for too long. How well we do against A&T well tell the story....

If that PV Defense has improved any.... PV will be hard to stop..

SU vs. PV in PV, TX.
Especially the SWAC game of the Year.

Not taking someone lightly is coach speak. If they were playing Grambling they would say the same thing.

Dude, PV gonna blow ya'll out regardless. Your offense won't be able to keep up with theirs this time... and to top it off, ya'll can't run the ball. Oh well.

geez.. where do I start.

I agree with you picking A&T because for a team picked 4th in your division, that is the type of team you need to beat to avoid a losing season.

However, I don't think Broadway has been in the upper echelon of the MEAC .. EVER.. Last year at 7-4 was his best year and he lost half of his offensive and defensive starters from a team that wasn't too good to begin with. If you can beat teams like A&T, Valley, UAPB, TxSo, and Grambling like you should, you all could avoid back to back losing seasons but a game like A&T can make or break your season since you can't afford unnecessary losses.

Man we hung 60 (with no running game) on them cornballs..shoo man...Lol...and most came in the 2nd half
 
For P.V I would say
Southern (That game might very well decied the West'

and for Alcorn probably Alabama State,
(They've punked the braves the past few years)

Only because you had Dray who was a senior and was able to keep a cool head after PV was blowing ya'll out of Mumford. They gonna blow ya'll out in the tuna can.. watch! :lol: Ya'll got like FOUR blowouts in September. If you come within 2-3 TDs of ULL, NWState, Alcorn or PV, I will be surprised.

Man look..we haven't lost a Swac game since Homecoming dude and that was in early October and we been kicking ass every since...we on a 6 game win streak against the SWAC...

When was the last time PV or Alcorn blew out any SU team Lol..I'll wait

The championship team was not as good as this team bruh....
 
Our real first game against Illinois State. We'll find out where we really stand against a decent OOC opponent.

Yep, I was wrong last year but not the other years before that....

So just in September, you think you can beat ULL? NWState? Alcorn? PV?

Keep in mind that you play Alcorn and PV on the road. THEN you still have to get past JSU and AlaState.

I think you can prob beat Central Methodist, TxSo, GSU, and UAPB and your chances are good vs AAMU and Valley.
