Sometimes I wonder what goes into the decision process for selecting schools for particular bowl games, as one would think they would want more close to home match ups for attendance and viewership. I bet it wasn't just them. I bet there were a lot of HBCU alums who will not attend HBCU games in NRG.typical bandwagon UH fans who get starry eyed and show up out the blue when they play an A&M, UT type of school
The majority of bowl games have conference tie-ins. No, but between the cost to travel, finding a place to stay, tickets, and food/parking, all of that adds up. Folks would rather understandably stay home.Do you really have to be rich to support????
