Neither will 99% of others. I dont think folks really understood how it works. For many programs, talking about adding scholarships when you rely heavily on student fees to even have athletics doesn't make a lot of sense.

For who? There are schools that over half of their athletics budget comes from subsidies. I'm not gonna point anyone out, but, the data is pretty easy to find.

. In fact, approximately 73% of HBCU athletic revenues are generated through subsidies, according to a 2022 review of the 2019-2020 SWAC/MEAC athletic finances.
This is what Google says. Increasing scholarships with this being the case isn't what schools should be doing... and that's not just HBCU's.
