Even tho they got their azz whooped, the SCState players had a saying before the Celebration Bowl. They said, "You can't talk this game". Let's see what you all got, and let's see if you can bring some heat to Jacktown in December!

@Jag Voice how are you going to pick a 1st year startup UTRGV, playing football @ the d-1 level for only its 2nd game ever (their 1st vs sorry assed returning 3-8 sul ross lol), over a gaining momentum PVAMU football team, in YOUR Southern University football stadium @ PV? Panther stadium, YOUR Southern University football stadium @ PV, will be hostile for the 1st home game under coach TJack and that alone will intimidate our soon to be parting for d-1 fbs guests, if the weather holds. (hurricane season 👀 )

1st year D-1 HC and staff or not, the coaches we have are seasoned and are ncaa playoff experienced. They did what most SWAC teams have not done.... targeted talent, not just "bodies." We don't want the fat assed OL who is 6'2" 317lbs of fat, physically weak cannot bench press 165lbs twice w/out gasping for air, jumping offsides when they know the snap count, won't hit, won't drive a defender. smh & lol We don't want the mentally dysfunctional WR who cannot catch a cold yet alone a wide open pass targeting him. We don't want a DL who is STARING @ the g'damned football down the LOS and then proceeds to jump offsides and subsequently "hand tackles" vs hitting a mf'er to put his ass in TFL timeout. We don't want a RB @ QB. 😁

I'm holding PV 2nd Session Summer School for the fans attempting to become part of our valued 12 fans fanbase because some of y'all have a LONG way to go before you can sit in that 13th seat @ our Southern University football stadium @ PV.

You know... I hope I'm wrong on that pick. I would love to see PV win that one but for some reason our teams don't fare well against coaching staff of a particular hue. Personally, I hate that fact!

Don't sleep on that team. They have an enrollment of 33K students so they will turn it around quick.

I know exactly what you are are saying and you are so correct if this was a previous regime. No sleeping on any team this year, that mindset is gone at PV. This staff mostly coached with or against those coaches without a suntan, so they won't be intimidated like we were before.

JV, don't forget that HC TJack and staff have coached against nothing BUT that other hue so they are proven. Also, we been whooping up on these local pwi schools so much lately until it's second nature for us to handle them. Even w/ our undisciplined and atrocious play, somehow, we always beat pwi fcs schools here or there (local types), or at a minimum were decently competitive. And that says a LOT, considering our team and coaching were NOT where they needed to be. (look at last year's tilt vs NwST/acu for instance, PV made those games closer than they should have been)

Our anomaly has been that we did NOT employ the exact same formula that acu, shsu, sfa, hcu (formerly hbu), and iwu, ESPECIALLY iwu employs.

And yes sir. We're aware of the 30K+ student enrollment in Mexico north rgv. Means nothing to us. There were 23/24K+ @ shsu when we were knocking them upside the head in 2 games that we should have EASILY won, had we better coaching/playcalling/kicker lol/ punter lol/LSer lol. Ditto for fbs rice univ w/ their ~9K student enrollment. Is we s'posed to be sc-sc-sc-sc-sc-SCEDDDDD?! F' them and the ship they rode in on too. We coming down off this hill to whoop some ass on the field.

I certainly agree with you there... If not for Chanis at SCst, I would consider this "thinking outside the box".. Im extremely please that PV chose not to hire a "Swac Recycle"..
