For whatever reason, Wade thought Williams was better than him so he transferred to Charlotte last year but didn't play
"The train has left the station and we ain't selling no more tickets"
For the first time in a couple of years we have a idea of who QB1 is, but the young man from Valley will provide some needed depth. Most Jags in this forum know who he is and his credentials, but to think he will be the starter is presumptuous. There is a reason two QB(s) from S.U. hit the transfer portal. He will get a shot though because T.G. is fair. The other thing is you need at least two solid QB(s) in this violent sports……so who knows.
You introduce me to one of them fine J settes between 40-59 and I'll be a JSU fan with you.![]()
It's February. I'm sure the diehards like me already have it in the budgetThat's a really good schedule! But it looks like JSU fans might have to make some business decisions between 10/11 (homecoming), 10/25 (Vegas) & 11/01 @FAMU!

Sad, it appears another classic is all but dead. How is it $400,000 to play in your own back yard a problem? This only makes sense if they are trying to rebrand the classic and run it themselves.
You do know tn state isn't located in Memphis right.Sad, it appears another classic is all but dead. How is it $400,000 to play in your own back yard a problem? This only makes sense if they are trying to rebrand the classic and run it themselves.

Lol...you know what they say about assuming? I thought the game was played in Nashville. You do know tn state isn't located in Memphis right.
Thanks for making sense out of it.When you only pay $300k to each school for a Top 5 classic that brings 45-50k to the game and millions to Memphis each year. You got FedEx, Amazon and UPS all in the city.
That's why JSU left it and they try to lowball TSU in staying. They have all of 2025 to get their mind right and give each school at least $750k + expenses paid or it's RIP SHC

Fred trying to be too greedy. Fred had to have been THEE first YN...Cheap summamabih...The economic impact locally exceeds $20 Million Dollars. There should be no reason why they couldn't pay a team any less than $600,000. Especially if you want that team to be in Memphis for 2-3 days overall.
Just saw this story and saw that Fred is so desperate that he invited Mississippi Valley to play in the SHC! But they had to decline

Players and coaches would rather play at the pro stadium than HaleLooking at Tenn St.'s 2024 season attendance, they need to have every game at Hale. IJS
