How prevalent were anti-trans ads in your state during the presidential election? Here in Texas, the last few weeks prior to the election, Ted Cruze blanketed the airwaves with them against his opponent. In one of the ads he distorted his opponent facial features insinuating he was some kind pervert.
I guess the republicans have the data showing it has a lot of traction motivating their base and swing voters. Is it the participation of guys playing female sports that galvanize their base, anti-trans sentiment or both?
A North Carolina senator is introducing a bathroom bill because a colleague of hers is trans. Being very real with you all, I don't approve of guys claiming they're female competing against females, and I damn sure don't approve of biological men using women restrooms.
Where I'm puzzled with all of this is I'm having trouble grasping what data the republicans have that show the issue is a game changer for how many vote. If any of you know, please share.
The resolution from Rep. Nancy Mace of South Carolina comes as Rep.-elect Sarah McBride, D-Del., is set to become the first out transgender member of Congress.
