Here are just a few things he's trying to do:

Trump wants John Thune the incoming Senate Majority Leader to recess the senate, so Trump can confirm his appointments without going through Senate confirmations.

Trump wants to fire/retire current generals and appoint those that are loyal to him, remember his "..wanting generals like Hitler..."!

Dems in the House have a bill to clarify the 22nd Amendment, so Trump doesn't try for a 3rd term. This shouldn't need to be done, but if Trump is able to have recess appointments, there's no telling what these people will do. Maybe they are just using him, so even if Trump is gone the damage is done and will only get worse.

America voted for the candidate and party didn’t F up their campaign in 2024. Period. The Dems lost the election when they were determined to wheel Biden across another finish line. Honestly, at the time you sounded the alarm, I don't think even the people of Israel believed this would drag on this long and be carried out as a genocidal operation. I think most hoped it would be a strategic operation narrowly focused on Hamas. The hostage families and even some of the top generals thought that was the aim.

Unfortunately, it doesn't matter what party is running the white house, since 1948 the U.S. has tethered itself politically, financially and militarily to Israel. It truly helped me understand why we are letting both Ukraine and Israel fight their own wars by providing them weapons instead of shedding the blood of American war fighters. If you have ever visited and seen the graves and read the names on the wall you realize these were kids many between the ages of 18-24 who never made it home or died not knowing what hit them. I have read the stories of many young black men and women alone with other races of kids who scarified their lives for a country who never loved them back. To see the graves and these kids lay there in Europe and Asia brings a sense of reality to you. The same will be said for those in the Afghanistan and Iraq and many other places in the middle east. Ukraine is willing to fight for their own country and y'all blame Biden. While not blaming Bush for fighting for Muslims who refused to fight for themselves. You'd rather blame Biden for pulling us out of a country where they would not fight for themselves, Currently for the first time in over 20 plus years there are no American war fighters in a war with boots on the ground.
