SWAC vs The MEAC in Celebration Bowls & Challenge Games! It’s time for a change!


I am pulling for Bama State. However having watched Howard play a couple of times last year and thinking about it, my gut feeling is HU is more stable and the better team.
 



Per Sports Media Watch, Alabama State’s 23-13 win over Howard drew an average of 485,000 viewers and a 0.26 TV rating on ESPN Saturday night, one of the lowest-rated contests on the Week 0 college slate. The game started on ESPN and later shifted to ESPNU for scheduled boxing programming after an extended weather delay that resulted in the contest being called after more than 5 hours.

With all the weather delays it had to be hard to get anyone to stay on the channel. I know I switched to the ACCN for the FAMU game and then started watching something else as the game was in another weather delay.
 
Come on Jackson State! Win this Celebration Bowl fellas! Hey he SWAC needs this one badly! We don’t need two consecutive defeats in the depleting MEAC era!

That's one thing former coach Dooley and staff got right a few years ago and I'll be damned if that staff didn't fully throttle them when up by 24(?) at one point and allowed them to creep slightly back into the game smh.
