The JSU team we beat in the Spring was totally different from the one that beat us in the Fall. They were loaded in the Fall with transfers who changed the landscape and won the SWAC Championship. After graduating some players we are making the proper adjustments to compete in the SWAC..

We had a lot of players graduate. We don't play on the Hill. We graduate our players.
Also in the recent past we were not giving the team enough money to recruit to the full limit of scholarships. Hick was being praised for helping to make this year's recruiting successful. It could be that they were able to offer more scholarships. They will still be looking for more through the summer.

Coach Maynor ain't playing. With these AAMU recruits and JSU having to bring in a new offense, JSU could be vulnerable. It will be easier for AAMU to improve its defense as opposed to JSU improving its offense.

He’s offering more than scholarships. Signing 2 high schoolers caught my attention.

Leave JSU out of this. We threw together a team over the summer with new offensive and defensive schemes and still won the Swac. As of matter of fact we threw together a new offense right before the aamu game and won that one.

Congrats on your signing class aamu
