For those of you that were not aware South Dakota State QB Chris Oladokun that recently led his team to a FCS semifinal game was picked up in the transfer portal by FAMU prior to the start of the 2021 football season. However, he could not gain graduate program admission at FAMU so went back into the portal and was picked up by South Dakota State.

I know exactly what you're saying. Our admission office is the same way. We didn't get a lot of the transfers from the last portal in school because they wouldn't help them in. HBCUs have some of the most hateful people in our admission offices. They aren't like those white schools who understands football brings money in. Nothing worse than trying to get a educated broad to understand that.

Or just maybe they fear a bad state or federal audit would result in them getting fired or worse. white schools are giving leincies we're not ... especially on the state level. We are on a shorter leash. But they shouldn't need much help to get in ... it's not difficult to get in in 99% of HBCUs ... Spelman and Howard are the toughest and Spelman don't have sports.

It's has nothing to do with how hard it is. After 60 hours you can transfer to any college in America. The problem is the classes they take at these white universities is what you all are not understanding. Many HBCUs don't offer those made up degrees white universities have for sports players that is the problem. For instance we don't have a class in the fundamentals of basket weaving. That is where the problem comes in. Always remember when we look at things we must look at the root of the problem. Not what we assume the problem is. When many of us speak on this page we are speaking in general terms. You'd be surprised who reads this board. It's monitored by more than who you think it is. That is why some things are said in general.
