That's when the conference office should have stepped up and made the decision to do this and not leave it up to the schools. Looking at this whole spring season you only saw the conference office put out a response 1 time and that was when the 1st pause by PV was announced and they came out and posted about the reschedule of the original AAMU & JSU games with PVAMU. Why can't they make the same decisions in this manner or even any of the others.

The conference has been out of it's depth from the beginning. I'll ask again, what has changed since the Fall of 2020, that makes Spring 'ball a more successful venture?

I honestly thought we had the same protocols as the FBS schools who played in the fall in which if 25% of the team has it, you have to postpone the game. It seems to me that even if only 1-2 players have it, the games are being postponed/cancelled. I don't have that much of a problem with it as far as contact tracing and our schools not being able to thoroughly test like the P5 schools but at the same time, if the SWAC used the same protocols implemented in the fall and your starting QB, RB, WR and 2 of your OL got it, it tests your depth if you have to trot out 5 inexperienced backups.

Grambling canceled early enough to change plans from that point. In this environment you can’t just go out and seek games knowing there could be long term ramifications if you don’t have to play
 
Considering that Pv’s next two games have been cancelled, what are the realistic chances of Pv playing Jsu April 24th? I wouldn’t be surprised or mad if they decided to opt out.

Again, I call BS....
If Coastal Carolina and BYU could manage to get a game scheduled because other schools had to cancel the Swac schools can do the same and they have more lead time.

At this point, if I were JSU, I wouldn't want PV-CV19-renegades near my student-athletes who have not tested positive for CV19. PVAMU football has demonstrated, imho, that it is unable to house student-athletes who are committed to doing their part to defeat CV19, unless some arbitrary infection occurred via food, et al avenues out of student-athletes control.

Being absurdly "wild" in party-mode doesn't equate self-isolation and SOCIAL-DISTANCING. Stupid.

Coach Sanders reported that a lot of his players went home during the bye week and were at family gatherings. So, we will see where JSU stands on that front in a few weeks.

BYU needed to do what it took to stay on top and CC needed that game to be relevant- not the same issue here
 
And now PV has postponed the Southern game scheduled for April 10th due to concerns over covid-19 protocols.

I think it said canceled, not postponed, Earle. If I'm wrong, someone please correct me. Probably in the best interests of everyone for PVAMU to cancel all football activities.

The Advocate could also have it wrong, but it appears in that publication this morning as a postponement. The article went on to say that there were limited opportunities to make up the game as the championship game was scheduled for May 1, but could be moved up if necessary to accommodate rescheduling.

Remember the Swac has that 2 week rule so when the aamu game got cancelled it automatically triggered the next weeks game also which is su.

More like a Louisiana hopscotch. Not since Barrack Obama was the President/Commander and Chief has pv taste the joy of victory but know all about the agony of defeat (thanks ABC Wide World of Sports).
