PV Football Pauses Activities

Give them time and go back in your corner.....LOL (they are smart enough to follow SWAC covid protocol)
Following protocol doesn't mean much if they do contact tracing as well as actually catching it. I did everything and still caught it, that just happens, easy to catch and tough to shake it off, over a month and I still have shortness of breath, just hope the athletes stay safe, people need to face it that it will be tough for the world to go back to normalcy soon

The AAMU vs MVSU makeup game should be rescheduled to this week now since both of our originally scheduled opponents are not available (PVAMU for AAMU & Alcorn for Valley).

Move the makeup AAMU/PVAMU game to April 3rd. Problem solved!

If anymore cancelations occur to A&M we have no more dates to make up.

That's a possibility and they can move the jsu game to Apr 24th as a makeup date.

Prairie View has played two spring football games in 2021. How many spring football games has Alcorn played in 2021?
You missed my point. No games should be played this Spring. What has the conference done to adjust to ongoing pandemic environment? What are the conference required COVID-19 protocols? What does the conference data suggest as a result of said protocols?

Dont try to justify just because Alcorn quit or opted out. Other FCS conferences played in Fall and Spring, cancellations and postponements will happen just like FBS and FCS. HBCU’s have to attempt to navigate through it or just don’t offer athletics because athletes want to compete or will go elsewhere where they can. The conference has provided guidance and support, unfortunately your institution has not.

The Alabama A&M vs Prairie View game that was postponed due to a positive Covid-19 test at PV has been rescheduled for April 3rd. AAMU officials confirmed it with me this afternoon. Kickoff is set for 2 PM! #SWAC #HBCU

Guidance and support? Can you elaborate? I agree what our athletic program did in the 25th hour wasn’t proper. None of us should be playing. Many on the platform praised the conference when it opted out of the Fall. I just want to understand how the conference mitigated the risk that was too much in the Fall. If all you going to do is slam Alcorn for opting out two weeks before the Spring, go play in traffic.

Three tests per week is not a High yield risk mitigation protocol. What type of oversight does the conference employ to ensure adherence? Who gets tested? This article was more about ranking teams who may not get to play the full Spring schedule than it was about protocols or “guidance and support.”

Your turn, go play in traffic or stay in your corner.....Instead of looking to get spoon-fed for answers on a message board, go to the source and pose your questions.

If this is the type of information the conference gives the Clarion Ledger, they aren’t go to give the credentials-less fan anything of use. But I understand what’s happening here...
