SWAC Spring ESPN schedule

BB, These fools piggy back off JSU in order to for folks outside of Leland & Pantherburn to even know what the fuck a valley is. They better be grateful. How quick they forget. We’re not asking y’all to thank us because y’all ain’t shit. We don’t benefit from y’all but hush & be grateful. “Just be happy to be here”

Love him or hate him, but me personally I'm loving what Deion "Prime Time" Sanders is doing at JSU! He has brought the plight of HBCU's to the forefront and he has been worth his salary in Gold due to the amount of media attention he's brought to the University. His presence alone will make HBCU Football programs step up there game or get left behind.

This was an excellent move by JSU and they weren't afraid to go after a big time name to be their Coach. TSU has done the same in men's and women Basketball programs and it's paid off for them as well. Carry one JSU and Coach Prime Time........
+1. I wholly agree. We must all step our game up.

Doing that is impossible with March Madness, MLB, and NBA.

Not really since espn don't do march madness, that's on CBS and it's family of stations, MLB games are typically on sunday nights and it's not starting until late April. NBA games are on the main channel and not on 2.

Having the games on 3 is nothing different than what most schools was doing in the first place with stream their games on their on website. Either thru sidearm or youtube, the only difference is it's running thru 3.
Jackson State was treated very favorably in the ESPN line-up with 6 of its 7 games to be broadcast. Is this the Coach Prime effect? How else could you explain such favorable treatment for a program that has been mired in mediocrity for nearly a decade, and has struggled to play 500 football?

I wonder how much of this has to do with not having Alcorn playing this year. I guess this also eliminates jsu from being able to do what they were planning to do with charging $25 to watch their games on their newly setup network. Potential income from that is now eliminated. Although I don't think they were gonna get many to buy that package for that price even during a pandemic.

It’s gone be okay @Fiyah. You know nothing about demand. If you did you would’ve told pv not to build that Texas sized high school stadium. Cause clearly there’s no demand for it in Waller County. Thee #1 Fanbase in FCS asked for this and we will support it. Truth of the matter is... we don’t have to. Our haters will be spending their money just to watch & see what THEE is doing. We getting ready to take y’all coins 😂. That fee is probably set up for y’all raggedy asses LMAO.
We good over here pimp. We got good problems. Something you’ll never have to worry about at pv.

Obviously, you have one game that you will not be. I guess we will be in your game gainst the West champ.

If you really look at it, they only have 2 games on ESPNU live, eveything else is on the streaming platform. I think all the schools could get on ESPN's streaming platform if they wanted to.

I knew you were a fan. I definitely don't know how much PV charges to view games online or even if its free 😆. Should we wear all red, all white, or all blue for our first game? What you think?

Let's see if you have that same coverage during a regular 11 game schedule with other FBS and FCS schools (and Alcorn) playing and after an expected mediocre Spring season with the Deion newness gone.

I would probably work on getting your games off Livestream and Facebook first and building a legit sports network (something Valley already has) and depending on the white man for everything
.......

At this time PVAMU doesn't charge for their games that are streamed. I did hear they were looking into it prior to the fall 2020 season as another form of income. I think it was gonna be in the area of $5 per game, similar to what Alcorn was doing.

I tried to watch JSU vs alcorn basketball game a week or so ago and they were charging 20 bucks so I didn't buy. So that 5 dollars must only be when they play y'all.

A program that despite all that still led the FCS in attendance. Even tho covid will kill the crowd shots espn dont care about wins or losses, coach prime and the possibility that even with a limited seating JSU can still draw a nice crowd in a big stadium.

Last time they played us in 2019 it was on 3 but I remember people talking about that price in the game update threads.

The great @Oracle has been so wrong in the past he has started talking in riddles. Name the 1 game we will not be in. I dare you 😆
The SWAC championship game that was listed as your seventh tv game. I did not need to be anymore specific because I thought you could figure out a simple riddle. You are making me believe I gave you to much credit. Lol....

True. AAMU has the same number of live games on ESPNU as JSU. Our televised game with them was probably picked because of our offensive style of play.

ESPN is the home of the entire women’s tournament and the majority of the men’s conference tournaments. I’m sure the commissioner would back me up on my statement.

Now you know I know what you were talking about. I wanted you to put it in writing like you do all your other predictions lol. I know for sure its happening now 😆

It was picked because WE are the home team. You're welcome
I guess they want the tv watching world to see how we put the hurt on JSU. The horrific beating we put on JSU will no longer be our secret. I'm getting prepared for the backlash that inevitably come after putting that type of public tail kicking on even an unsympathetic foe.

Ok, I'll give you the women's tournament but the men don't play on ESPN. The men play on CBS Sports & Turner Network (CBS, TNT, TBS & TruTv). ESPN did do the NIT I think, but I haven't heard if they will do that tournament this year.

Thanks for confirming that we will be kicking y'all arse 😆. What other predictions you got lol

Jackson State has all of its 6 games aired on espn platforms. Must be the Prime Time effect! This is a program that has been mired in mediocrity for nearly a decade, and has not had a winning season in recent memory, but yet it gets all of its games aired. What about the more successful SWAC programs who have earned the advantage to have their contests aired. This appears to be favoritism shown to JSU by the conference office. I had hoped that "hometown cooking" would not have played into conference decision-making.

I guess ESPN tired of showing reruns of SU that equal the same result for the last two years... it was really killing ratings.
