The salary was $420,000 at USC and is $300k at FAMU without incentives. Sooooo not sure what your saying.

Tee Martin was an OC and got fired. Tennessee hired him to rebuild his rep

Cedric Thomas agrees.

He left a HC job where he was the man to essentially go to a lame duck job as a position coach Hell he would make more money as HC at Valley than a position coach at USM.

But he was able to bounce back at MDCC which has become a feeder school to some P5 programs despite a lack of success. If he can get them back even halfway close to their National Championship days (2000), a P5 job might be in his cards.

For those not familiar with Mississippi JUCOs, Coahoma (HBCU) and MDCC are THE two hardest jobs to consistently win at. Coahoma at one point had lost like 30+ games in a row (and their HS Coahoma Aggie was equally bad for whatever reason). At least MDCC won a NC in 2000 but been mediocre since. Mississippi has invested heavily in their JUCOs recently so even Coahoma and MDCC has seen upgrades.
