2019 Swac Football Attendance - Week 10

9 miles vs 50 miles LOL

Hol' up ROCK, let me get w/ j4l. You've been in Tx long enough to know that 9 miles may as well be 50 as spread as everything is here. You can damned near drive from one side of htown for 50 miles and still not touch the other side of htown (proper). lol 50 miles is like a drive down the street, so to speak.

Carry on.

Yeah and the cow jumped over the moon practicing for the animal Olympics. We are going to show you guys how to bum rush jsu, then pistol whip them because we didn't care to get our Jaguar Paws dirty in a couple of weeks. Then you all can continue the attendance "convo" again....LOL

I'd be careful w/ that if I were you. JSU has some talent in their backfield. I saw it first hand. It's faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaast and doesn't tackle easily. Also, one of their RBs showed us he knows how to improvise on the fly and make something good happen. lol

i definitely agree about the friendly part! U cant compare the two because texas folks aint as warming to others

Well it's simply the big city TX life ... Houston & Dallas represents 90% of the students at TSU. Those are huge cities with over a million people, so people naturally learn to be distrustful when there are so many strangers always in your area. Rarely in Houston & Dallas you see the same faces which makes it harder to naturally want to warm up to people and be friendly. Also black folks in TX big cities stay busy doing something in the city .... hard to get to know new ppl and build community when you always on the go.

Really the biggest thing I don't like about TSU and TX Black culture is the lack of community and friendliness compared to ya'll. If people don't know you in TX, they not gonna be bothered with you for real. In Louisiana, Mississippi, and other Southern states, I have been randomly invited into tailgating tents, embraced as if they knew me forever, and those people never seen me in my life ... that always shocked me and made me hate living in Texas ... it's so much easier for me to make connections and have fun in other Southern states outside Texas. Texas doesn't have Southern hospitality and it's very evident ... especially at TSU campus which feels very impersonal and divided.

The casual BR folks not SU base.

I've watched plenty of LSU games on TV and will be at the LSU vs Alabama game this weekend. Casual black folks don't be on the SEC campuses like that. They may watch the game on TV, but BR black people who didn't go to LSU don't really party at LSU ... they have always been most comfortable at SU. I'm sure I will be one of a few black people at the game this weekend that's not affiliated with LSU or Alabama. I'm only going b/c my best friend is a graduate of University of Alabama and it's hard for me to turn down free good 'ole southern cookin' & alcohol.

Wake me up after you stop dreaming. 1573079222177.png
Weren't you the "stable genius" (like Trump...lol) bragging on the damage sTu was going to wreak after the LDC? How is that prognosis working for you Patron? LOL S.U. will be taking a cast iron skillet to jsu's head.....LMAO!!!

I don't think SU has a attendance problem. I just think people are not coming to the games like that. My biggest issue is that SU is not getting those visitors numbers. If you look at SU traveling crowds (Memphis, FAMU, Alcorn, Mcneese) SU brought thousands, those numbers are not coming to Mumford. SU could very easily have 20,000. It's no excuse but that is my two cents. SU just has to do a better job of marketing or better deals etc
Probably ticket prices might be the reason.

You missed the point. Your fellow jag blamed LSU for SU's attendance. I'm not comparing JSUs and SUs attendance numbers. You actually proved my point as well since SU was able to have good attendance numbers in lieu of LSU being nearby.
THEY helped to prove our point. Lol.

Nah, just ready to see jsu brought back to reality. Hopefully AAMU sleep on you all (which I doubt considering the magnitude of the game), so S.U. can bring you all back to reality with a Molly-whopping. LOL

SU ain't gone do shyt lol. It's a shame yall are playing the sisters of the blind lol. We got some grown folks business to handle this weekend so stay in a child's place lol.

Yeah, if AAMU save us some rump, you'll soon find out where a child place is....LOL

You aged and became old quicker than a U.S. president after S.U. reminded you all again..........you're just pv.......LOL

Edna View will return to its natural form and whooped y’all again and again shortly. Just sit tight for a few lol :D .

They definitely don't be in the stands. I would think if they tailgating, at least half will make their way into the game. The only speckles of black in the stands I see are always in the student section and band

And LSU is getting blacker like most colleges in America. Black enrollment at LSU has been on the rise since 2009 but it doesn't necessarily mean they actually like LSU or the culture there. LSU has resources and programs not available at SU. ULL is almost 25% black but you be hard pressed to find many black people at their athletic events .. always a small group.

Man you are out of touch with BR. Our people are at LSU in huge numbers these days, especially their homecoming.

Ain't enough "stands" for that to happen at LSU. They get a good 150K at their tailgates.
