NCAA places FAMU athletics on probation for multiple infractions, includes post season bans

I guess that PV coach wishes he were still at PV.
Seems like FAMU officials didn't learn from the debacles of the band department.

No he doesn't. And it was basically the result of A LOT of turnover between the years of 2010-2016. It's just unfortunate that it hit us at this time.

We honestly are pretty solid in the compliance area now and that won't be an issue moving forward.

Shotgun is back home, missing PV last on his mind

We got reprimanded by the NCAA back in 2015 as well. For the same time period...2010-2015. Basically in the same area.

In looking back at the other case, it's a bit different. This new issue is more comprehensive and part of a data review. The previous case was based on something being reported to the school/MEAC/NCAA and mainly involved forms students needed to fill out and proper notification about scholarship money reductions.

The current findings are part of a review that started in 2015. That's pretty much right after the announcement of the last set of infractions.

When I say the same area I mean it’s all a result of the same dysfunction in compliance and all happened around the same time.

But you’re right, this one is a bit deeper.
