Reed made a bad impulsive reaction. When the girl poured a bottle of water down on him he should not have responded.
Hmmmmmmmm......so Reed did not initiate the incident?Reed made a bad impulsive reaction. When the girl poured a bottle of water down on him he should not have responded.

Oh wow for real?Reed made a bad impulsive reaction. When the girl poured a bottle of water down on him he should not have responded.
Where are you hearing she poured something on him?
That didn’t happen! From Reed himself. That's the statement he gave to the administration.
No argument from me but what happens if and/or when a student initiates contact with a player or coach? Why invite trouble? At H&PE they moved the students who use to sit behind the visiting team's bench because of a near incident a few years ago. No sense in not taking every precaution.
Where you there to see it first hand, J C?That didn’t happen!
We have one officer (armed officer) at the end of the visiting team's bench. The students are not allowed to sit behind the visiting team's bench anymore. That area is designated for the visiting team's fans/friends.If he reacted to physical contact, where was security? For our home games, we have 2 sets of security, lazy as shit, but still, they are there to prevent stupidity because it's too easy to occur w/ today's dumblings on campus.
Heckling coaches and players, trying to get them off their game is one thing. Getting physical is something else totally. Several years ago one of our alums was giving a Valley player hell (verbally)...the Valley player went wild on the court. After the game he came to the stands and thanked the alum for getting him fired up. They both had a good laugh and it was over. What about the immature adult fans screaming junk towards coaches/players behind the opposing team's bench, Herb? I recall a few of your undistinguished immature alumni calling our own precious coach Francis "crack monster," "They ain't selling rocks in 3rd ward tonight," et al junk. I was surprised, but, I expect such archaic behavior from people who dwell in harris county.![]()

Uhhhhhhhhhh, was Francis a crack monster?

That shit is so low-brow, imho. But again, I expect such archaic and primitive behavior from remedial and primitive people. I thought folk were in the stands to root for their OWN/encourage their OWN/support their OWN team/players, not try to berate another team. The non-ghetto mentality is oo much like right I guess. It's above the level of quite a few. lol

Yes! The young man got upset over a flagrant foul which was called. The students were verbally harassing him.
Man, none of this stuff is malicious. The crack reference may have crossed the line but heckling is now a part of the "fan experience". If coach Francis was not offended no one should be. These coaches get it....Davis use to go back and forth with the students...AFTER the game was in the bag. That shit is so low-brow, imho. This happens everywhere. I heard the worst playing at Baylor...It doesn't make it ok but its part of the game. Players need to stop being so soft - if they don't touch you, let it go.
