Wow TSU

The girl screaming in the video was way too dramatic.....calm down geesh.... I would've threw something back at his azz!

If that were to happen at PV...I think it would've been a brawl....

Reed made a bad impulsive reaction. When the girl poured a bottle of water down on him he should not have responded.

He has every right to respond to that. I don’t care if she’s a young lady or not. Fans need to be responsible, too!

It’s unfair that we want athletes to not react when being treated inhumanely by fans just because the setting is a sporting event.

If it’s true that girl threw water on him, she shouldn’t be allowed to attend sporting events for the rest of year.

No argument from me but what happens if and/or when a student initiates contact with a player or coach? Why invite trouble? At H&PE they moved the students who use to sit behind the visiting team's bench because of a near incident a few years ago. No sense in not taking every precaution.

What about the immature adult fans screaming junk towards coaches/players behind the opposing team's bench, Herb? I recall a few of your undistinguished immature alumni calling our own precious coach Francis "crack monster," "They ain't selling rocks in 3rd ward tonight," et al junk. I was surprised, but, I expect such archaic behavior from people who dwell in harris county. :D

If he reacted to physical contact, where was security? For our home games, we have 2 sets of security, lazy as shit, but still, they are there to prevent stupidity because it's too easy to occur w/ today's dumblings on campus.

We have one officer (armed officer) at the end of the visiting team's bench. The students are not allowed to sit behind the visiting team's bench anymore. That area is designated for the visiting team's fans/friends.

Heckling coaches and players, trying to get them off their game is one thing. Getting physical is something else totally. Several years ago one of our alums was giving a Valley player hell (verbally)...the Valley player went wild on the court. After the game he came to the stands and thanked the alum for getting him fired up. They both had a good laugh and it was over.

Uhhhhhhhhhh, was Francis a crack monster?

That shit is so low-brow, imho. But again, I expect such archaic and primitive behavior from remedial and primitive people. I thought folk were in the stands to root for their OWN/encourage their OWN/support their OWN team/players, not try to berate another team. The non-ghetto mentality is oo much like right I guess. It's above the level of quite a few. lol

For true on the armed officer. I'm sure it's more than one or 15 milling around that joint. smh

This happens everywhere. I heard the worst playing at Baylor...It doesn't make it ok but its part of the game. Players need to stop being so soft - if they don't touch you, let it go.

Man, none of this stuff is malicious. The crack reference may have crossed the line but heckling is now a part of the "fan experience". If coach Francis was not offended no one should be. These coaches get it....Davis use to go back and forth with the students...AFTER the game was in the bag.

I mean I’ve learned with time that you can’t believe a “short video” all the time..... not to excuse the young fella because that’s unacceptable what he did, but I’m sure there were two wrongs here rather than the wrong that got caught on tape. I hope the fan in that section was approached as well. I’m sure there was some misconduct there too.

Coach Francis appeared agitated, a time or two.

Ask some of your 2.01 gpa graduated alums/ buds in here what they said and why they went down that path. I’m sure they can provide an answer other than the stupidity and ignorance embedded w/in their dna. :D lol

I DGAF if it happens in kalamazoo. It still doesn’t make it right. You purchase a ticket to berate & not appreciate an opposing team’s efforts? :D You don’t purchase a ticket to cheer/laude those wearing your school colors? WTF?

When PV competes, I appreciate the effort of an opposing team. Even after we skull drag some of you sorrier teams, I still appreciate your teams’ efforts while we give you your traditional “L.” :D
