Update on Ticket Sales for State Fair Showdown

Man you know damn well lmao. SU folks will be there. Keep in mind we just left Houston.

We just left where?

Dude, attendance was 13,220 and 10,000 of that was PV students, alumni and fans. Southern may have been at maximum the 3,220 and all of them plus tens of thousands more live in the Houston metropolitan area so what do you mean "we just left"?

Sell that rotted gumbo to some gullible chump who don't know the real deal.

That's a lie. SU fans were mixed in with their fans over there also. Of that 13,220 number a good 5k was their students because it was definitely more of them there than PV alums.

Never would've thought TSU would be outselling SU in Dallas.

PV had fans on the east side as well. At most SU brought somewhere between 3-4k. Still a good number but let's not overexaggerate.

Maybe the 20K they brought just tailgated outside the stadium and watched from "the hill"?

4k is great. 100% certain that's the most we ever brought to Waller lol

H town, Dallas, J state back to back to back hurt, Some had to choose. Also our poor performance for Homecoming didn’t help. Folks back on board now. Watch our attendance the next two games.

What exactly would our fans want in Shreveport? Ask yourself why PV or TSU fans pass on leaving here as all of you come here. dahell?

Dude y’all only have 980 people at your home games and that’s with the fans from the opposing school. Go talk about basket weaving or something.
What does that have to do with our fans buying tix for Dallas... TODAY? lol

Perhaps the map says otherwise. Seems like it does. I don't see the issue. If our fans or random Dallas peeps show up and show love and yours do, then that makes a. The bargaining table for both schools more favorable in the future and b. The pocket books of two hbcus(for which I gag concerning anybody but mine mostly but what...ever jesus I will play nice) possibly having a modicum of a chance to grow. Lemme translate fer ya... "Greaux". There. I did it.

To be honest, TCU, UTexas, old PV faithful and die hard UH fans are the ones you can count on. Old PV faithful isn't a big number though. Those folks are the ones who stomach other places outside of Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, etc. Add to that the distance, etc and wah lah...nobody hitting Shreveport. Dallas is doing well as a city right now. Hbcus better catch the Texas bug or make a reasonable alternative the way our population here is growing. Pad the wallet.

It has a lot to do with it. You can’t get 1,000 people at home, your fans don’t travel, but all of a sudden y’all are buying up all of the tickets in Dallas? Come on man.

What game are you talking about with less than 1,000 people showing up for?

As quiet as it's kept, there's a large following of txSU fans in the DFW area. Due to the unsuccessful seasons the ftball team is having, hardly any travel to Htown to watch any games. But, I was told over a month ago, there would be a huge crowd of txSU fans as well as DFW peeps who want to see txSU.

Good job on selling tickets txSU.

I hope the rain is done atleast 2 hours before the game. Otherwise, the stands will look like a typical start of the 4th qtr of a SFC.
