Deion Sanders’possible HBCU camp

If he said, I want to host some of top high school talent/future NFL talent at a HBCU campus. I would have been all for it. But, don't single us out like a charity case. I guess, only a few of us able to see thru Mr. Sanders.

If he would've got with some other HBCU greats to promote this endeavor. Maybe, I would've got behind it.

Some of the top talent HS talent do attend the mega camps hosted at HBCUs.

Thank you.

I trip on how so many average and below average HBCU “grads” lol seemingly slobber over people like him, whose original intent is very well documented. smh Let that dude do what he does over there ——> his wishy-washy azz. Ditto for the emmitt smiths et al. Stay far far away. We made it thusfar w/out them. They are not needed and they are not a part of this very special fraternity, regardless of those idjits who try to include them and look up to them as if they are demigods lol.

Bewildered, I am inclined to agree with you as to how you feel about Sanders and others who are similarly situated. He obviously was a talented football player in high school and took his talents to a major white college and from there on to the NFL. Like so many in his shoes, he has tended to look down on hbcus as playing inferior brands of football. You know, most of those guys grew up poor and got a break because they just happened to possess superior athletic abilities. When they were younger, they downed hbcus because they were young and stupid and just didn't know any better. They compared hbcus to the white institutions on whose fields and courts they had competed, and perceived hbcus as being inferior. Because they mostly grew up in poverty, they should have been able to comprehend the existence of hbcus as something of a microcosm of the world they grew up in. But, for some reason, mostly intellectual ineptitude, they either could not or would not. Now years older, and hopefully wiser, Sanders perhaps has seen the error of his ways and, maybe, just maybe, want to make amends for his flawed behavior and beliefs. So, if that be the case, perhaps he should be so entitled. But I do wonder why he thinks his defensive skills would be any greater than those of Aneaes Williams, Danny Johnson, and others who are hbcu products.

So, in other words no one has any reason to be against this other than simple speculation lol. Again, how about asking the people that it would affect, the players.

Damn, Mrwiregrass, you really don't like this dude do you. LOL!!!

Folks forget his charter school failure-that was a sad attempt to use it as pipeline to college for kids and footage for his reality show.
For those of us who in Dallas and the schools that had to put up with that mess-yeah we don't care for Deion because Deion is all about HIMSELF.

When the STATE closed those schools and 300 kids got screwed-what was he doing? Getting his equipment out of the school-because he CHOSE to not follow the rules. You open a school and top jocks from the WHITE schools come to the HOOD to attend? Those white schools were NOT going to let that slide. Then throw in other antics not related to sports.

I don't blame Mrwiregrass for his replies. What is in it for Deion? What good is putting at a HBCU? Having it at a HBCU will NOT undo what PWC and others have said about them.
You want to help HBCUs-show those kids all the successful ALUM that have been produced in ALL fields of life. Film that for OWN network or BET.

Well, Deion's first wife attended FAMU. But, I still don't trust this snake in the grass. If, Dez Bryant he said isnt about shyt. What does that tell you?

Also, when Jerry Jones does some borderline racist shyt, who does he call to defend him?
