I doubt that. S Dakota State isn't exactly a bastion of football recruitment wars for black athletes. They probably get the best football athletes in SD though as they are the largest university in SD. The state populations is about 90% white and 1% black. My guess is UAPB get (5th helpings) the athletes that Arkansas, Arkansas State, UCA and some out of schools take at best (could be worse based on other factors).

Oh, I feel ya. I don't think he should have apologized either. But I really do believe that he didn't think his team was going to score 90 points.

My thing is, if you see this happening, do like LSU did to ole piss in 2010, start taking a knee in the 3rd quarter.

Some, particularly small time schools don't have any class. Look at that stunt LA. Tech pulled on S.U last weekend (throwing a TD pass with .06 seconds left on the clock). That Tech coach can say anything he wants. He was pissed at that 1st half come back and the fact that S.U. did some things well against them (his apology wasn't sincere and he is just classless). Same thing with SDST but on the other end of the spectrum (he just wanted to annihilate UAPB and did just that). You're right, he could have taken a knee but exercised his rights....LOL

Yea that was classless by tech with throwing that td. The score didn't look good enough for them, thats why they did that.

bama state also did not throw bombs in the second half yet alone the 4th quarter. it was 72-0 at halftime of that game so they could have put up 140 if they wanted. they played their punter at safety for the 4th quarter.

1. We lost to Jacksonville State 71-0 but there were no complaints from hardly anyone. Why? Jacksonville State ran the ball pretty much most of the 3rd and all of the 4th quarter thus having a de facto running clock situation. If we can't stop their 3-4 string with our 3rd string then that's on us.

2. The coaches have to agree to it. Georgia and Austin Peay agreed to a 10 minute 4th quarter. That shows the talent disparity between a team expected to make a deep run in the FCS playoffs and a top 10 FBS team. Same with KSU/Alabama, JSU/Valley, SDSU/UAPB, etc.

Hell even Bama called off the dogs on Ole Miss yesterday but SDSU shouldn't have to apologize for passing with under 2 minutes left with a 77 point lead? Naaa....

So you telling me, SDSU was throwing bombs against UAPB in the 2nd half? And the coach want me to believe his apology? Man please!!
