Man. Y’all really enjoyed that 90’s opportunity to jackoff to wins over a sick/last prime Eddie Robinson when it comes to Pete. Maybe because that streak got y’all back into the series. SU doesn’t and never will have to respect from the college football world that Grambling State has! Period. You know it, and that’s why power blue wearing cats like you reach for irrelevant data to make you feel better. Find us some college football historians or a few experts who agree that these names are greater than the legendary one!
Oh well, pull it up and talk about Ace and Pete, (who I do respect), all night long. Nobody outside of of the swamp will really hear you, but keep on talking. GSU’s football program makes more headlines on a bad day vs SU winning a SWAC title. Take it, enjoy the Jukebox, and walk out of the stadium like your fans do when the halftime show is over.

I didn't post that as a spite to anyone. I posted those percentages as a contribution to the conversation. Very few coaches has as many wins (1 I think Joe Paterno) as the great Eddie Robinson or coached for as long. Now if you don't like those percentages that's on you.

I hear ya, but I do respect percentages. They can just be a little deceiving when folks are reaching. My post was a contribution to the conversation as well.

Oh, I loved your post Jrock. You posted your percentages, and the 408 was mentioned. Everything’s was facts. Never said we weren’t behind, I just made the point of the past prime run bringing y’all back to life. If you were at the BC’s from the early 90’s on back, you know the fans came to see the Jukebox and the G-Men. Don’t worry, another whippin is on the way and things will stay the way they were meant to be.

Well, at least we can talk about more things than just football. Once the football conversation has ended, everything else is just crickets at Grambling. It's like Prez. Jones only had one spotlight (as former GSU Coach Broadway so eloquently put it, a dog and pony show) to light up the darkness in those piney woods. And if Ace hadn't passed away so early, that one light would have been dull as hell. Now tell us about the time when Eddie had the whole team picking cotton so his star player could play in a game.

LOL..."Fust," those aren't my percentages, they're in the record book. Second, I have never gone to the BC to see a band and have been going considerably before the early 90's. (If you think I've gone to the Bayou Classic just to see the G-Men you've lost your mind....LOL) The S.U. streak in the 90's and Grambling streak in the 70's cancel one another out and the fact remain that Grambling trails Southern University and A&M University in the series. I know it's tough for you to reconcile but deal with it. Three things you can't do anything about:
1) "Ace" Mumford welcomed Eddie Robinson to the series beating him.
2) Southern University Alum RWE Jones hired Eddie and is the Father of your athletic department and marching band (So we're really your Daddy....LOL).
3) Pete Richardson sent Eddie Robinson out the same way he came in the series against S.U.
Lastly, I'm not the enemy and pretty much a Grambling fan when they're not playing against The Southern University. However, I will give facts and let you know if I see narcissism (meant to be, "yeah right")....LOL

I ain’t talking about you, I am talking about the majority. Being New Orleanian, I know the deal. The Bayou Classic was s chance to witness The Great Eddie Robinson and his westbank river & country boys put in work, and to watch the Jukebox put on a show. That’s what it was.

3. It’s ok to jacking off to beating a ill/past prime coach. I know it’s not SU’s problem that Grambling didn’t retire Robinson when the concerns started coming from the players and coaches, but it still doesn’t matter.
With Pete bringing y’all back from the dead, y’all still were and are known for being “ the school that plays Grambling” in the Bayou Classic.” You would think that the NBC telecast would show y’all who was the main attention is on during the air time. I can’t tell y’all how many of my SU family and friend b and complain about the amount of attention GSU got/gets during the broadcast compared to SU. It’s simple. The football world has seen more and heard more about one program compared than the other. I already know that y’all hate it and love to throw out the “woulda, coulda, shoulda,we did this, we did that, we win this, we won that” crap. Nobody outside of Baton Sissy cares. GSU is the football face of the Bayou Classic by far. Even when Pete was dominant, GSU and whoever was the coach were the headlines. Take it and move on. I am a SU fan outside of facing y’all. I have too much SU blood around me not to be.

No one that I know of from S.U. jacks off over beating Country Grambling unless that is something you do or folks you associate with over a football game (which is rather sick)..LOL The fact of the matter is Grambling is behind in in the series no matter how much air time NBC, CNN, WXOK, KAKO, WWOZ or Donald Trump gives you for the matter. Southern University has been carrying Grambling azz and that broadcast for decades (sorry it's the truth). Otherwise you all would be stuck in the boonies with nothing to do on Thanksgiving weekend but sniff pine trees and red clay...LOL I know you don't like it but that is just the facts. And stop whining about Pete. Would you rather S.U. play without a coach (LOL)? There is no "would, could, shoulda," Southern University is deeper in that rump than anyone else in the SWAC and you all are (again) BEHIND in the series (what don't you understand about that....LOL)? Ace beat the hell out of Eddie when he was young and Pete beat the hell out of him when he was old while Eddie beat the hell out of a few poor coaches between our legends (now what?....LOL) So yeah we beat that azz in black and white and in living color....LOL I have just as much of Grambling blood around me if not more than you. Hell I've been doing BC smacking before there was an internet. I grew up on both Southern University and Grambling football. I will return fire though if you're trying to step on your "Daddy" in a feeble attempt to feel important. Everyone knows what Grambling has accomplished. It won’t change the anything. The names Grambling & Eddie Robinson made the Bayou Classic popular. Y’all don’t like it, but it’s facts. Poor Mrs. Doris had to go to ESPN, NBC, CBS, ABC, CNN, and FOX to let people know how ya'll were treating her husband at Grambling. And I couldn't believe that even booger eating sectional sofa full of thots in the Superdome Doug Williams was one of the ones trying to get rid of Coach Rob. That was a damn shame what ya'll did to the only person who put Grambling on the map.

Every team in the SWAC plays GSU like it is a National Championship game. Teams prepare based on what GSU has...teams in the SWAC look at it like this “if we can beat GSU we can beat the rest of the SWAC.”
