LOL...I remember one year it was supposed to be a home game and they moved it to Shreveport.

Is there a status update on the search?
So how is the President/AD or AD/President (depending on how Get Ready Interprets It) doing over there?
The SWAC Office told Grambling that JSU was coming back to Grambling as a SWAC game. Afterwards, they renegade and said the game wouldn’t be played, and JSU decided to run from Grambling in the process
Weren't we on a 2 year rotation? Meaning the JSU game didn't count for Grambling last year and wouldn't count this year either? It was a contract between JSU and GSU right? SWAC office doesn't negotiate or control non conference games even between conference members.
I have a feeling this game will be relocated to a neutral location.

The SWAC office told Grambling, Jackson State was play Grambling in Grambling in 2018. Grambling won’t go to Jackson as a conference game, because that’s 4 straight conference games and the SWAC promised Grambling that the next conference game between Grambling and JSU will be in Grambling.
No Top 10 FCS Program will be willing to play GSU. If GSU were to beat them it will cost them in the playoff standings.
It just hit me.....
But they're willing to play North Carolina A&T and Norfolk? No Top 10 FCS Program will be willing to play GSU. If GSU were to beat them it will cost them in the playoff standings.

No top TEN??!! Uhhh, let's not get carried away.No Top 10 FCS Program will be willing to play GSU. If GSU were to beat them it will cost them in the playoff standings.

Seriously, they are not scared of the SWAC. The top 10 FCS schools are pay for play just like some of us SWAC schools are. grambling is not about to fork over 100k (or more) for a top 10 school to come to your place. And grambling is not about to travel to ND or SD or Montana, etc. for 100k or less. There's a reason you (we SWACers) scheduled Bacone to begin with. $$$$$$Seriously...they are not going to play GSU. The loss would be to great to their chances in the playoffs.

I said GSU....not the SWAC.
See what you all are not looking at is one simple factor....THE PLAYOFFS.
These same schools we are talking about wanted no parts SU when Pete Richardson was there. It’s not about distance....it’s about the potential loss hurting that playoff position.
Then WHY did Jacksonville State agree to schedule North Carolina A&T?
I said GSU
See again y’all not reading...
I didn’t say SWAC, MEAC, etc.... Also, again go and talk to some of the ADs or coaches that were around when SU was powerful when Coach Richardson was there and they would tell you the same thing.
Dont give me that macho "gram is special" fan bullshit. A&T beat yall en route to the first undefeated HBCU football season since God knows when, and Jacksonville State agreed to schedule them WEEK ONE. We ain't talking about 10+ years ago, and we aint talking about SU & Pete Richardson.
Richmond won 10 games in 2016 and went to the FCS quarterfinals. Sam Houston State opened 2017 against Richmond, but Im supposed to believe that SHSU, JMU, SDSU, NDSU are all scared of Grambling?
Come on man...
I haven't heard...I'm kinda holding off from buying my season tickets until early June just in case there is a venue change.
LOL he made that up. Per my understanding, GSU has a certain amount of time to return the JSU game per the contract.
