2kool, as a Texas Southern alum, I agree with my fellow alum Raoul and leave it out of Houston. Sounds like you're making a blanket statement. Are your feelings hurt because you're sensitive about Alabama?

The only thing that hurts my feelings is folks ignoring dollars, cents, facts and data.

This conference has been financially mismanaged worst than a dope addict and his personal finances.

I dont give a damn if we're doing business in Bham, Jackson, or any other city smaller than Houston. Do what is best for the damn conference. Leaving the Bham deal for Houston was backwoods-dumb!

The next commissioner needs to have a strong background in contract negotiations and have a solid reputation for fiscal restraint. I sadly recall Duer talking about how he was glad he noticed a problem in the tournament contract, when it was played in Garland, after the tournament had already taken place.
 
Since you Houston and B'ham folks can't get along we're going to need to bring the HQ back to Sportsman's Paradise. Per Rodney King, "Can we all just get along?" LOL

 
Think y'all should contact Michael Cohen's folks. They seem to have all sorts of folks to help the SWAC secure the bag LOL
 
Shreveport rolled out the red carpet. I think there was a personality conflict between mayor and commissner. opportunity missed for basketball tourney
