No. I think coach Mike Haywood of sTu is @ 300,000$ base, annually. Just behind him is coach Joe Broadway of NCA&T @ 285,000$ base salary.

I haven’t fact checked that, however
London’s salary was $2.63 million in his final year at Virginia and he reportedly was receiving $300,000 at Maryland. That’s in the same ballpark as a head coach’s salary in Howard’s league, the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference.

shsu hc/staff with NO apr issues and SWAC schools are overpaying a few numbskulls to lose IC/OOC, bring in incapable student-athletes who aren’t top tier athletically and/or academically, & cannot finish no higher than 2nd/3rd in their own division.
Grambling St has the formula for success both on and off the field. Kudos to coach Fobbs and staff.
