When does the SWAC Russell

Hampton has a deal with Under Armor but the deal with Nike (shoes) wasnt up ... so they are wearing Under Armor uniforms with Nike shoes until the shoe contract is up. I think when the Nike Shoe contract is up, each man will be for himself.

The "Jordan Brand" has become bigger than basketball. He sponsors athletes in all different sports. And I know the Univ. of Michigan football team wears the Jordan Brand uniforms also. More will follow.

Man I don't care how big Jordan brand is. It screams I'm dumb as hell and you can sell me anything. lol

But that's just me, I tend to do my best to have things make sense.

But what differentiates the Jordan Brand from Nike, Adidas, Under Armour, etc...? They all do clothing, uniforms, and footwear for multiple sports. Is it just the fact that the logo itself is of him dunking a basketball?

Blue still thinks these kids don't care what brand they wear on the field.

"Just throw some Converse on and get to work!" LOL

Smh you still trying to win that childish argument even though there is evidence to the contrary huh? Smh...damn podnuh let it go fawk. You're acting like a Trumpanzee that ignore facts because it doesn't fit their narrative.

Damn! how long have you been barking thst same narrative anytime you get a chance, even though it has absolutely nothing to do with the subject? 3-5 years? Geesh

Really Bruh......really ? I got to explain to you what the difference is between wearing a unis that's been doing apparel for decades with no specific sports logo vs one that just getting in the market of football with an Obvious logo of another sports?

Really......I got to explain that to you? Bruh stop

Jordan brand is under the Nike umbrella. There shouldn't be any issues with them designing football uniforms.

Where did I say there were issues? I'm simply stating by position on the fact it shows some people will buy into anything. At the end of the day it's simply a logo that they are going to gouge suckers for at a higher price in the regular market .

Nevermind I found out. Why would anybody that plays football want to wear unis with a basketball logo on it?

It's his brand logo. Michigan has been wearing it all year. He had crossed over into other sports when Jeter, Serena and others started wearing his brand. So his logo is really of no consequence to the athletes who love his gear anyway. Like someone said, he has transcended basketball. It's all about branding now. You saw it with Tiger Woods before his troubles. Nike was pushing that TW and even got into the golf club making business just to push their name. With MJ being a NBA owner these days and his shoe sales down. I am sure Nike and Jump Man/Jordan Brand marketing experts decided to look at other sports to push their gear even more. Smart moves if you want to stay relevant in today's market place. It is way more competitive now. There were also NFL players who were on the Jordan Brand too, way before this as well. So his logo/brand is not johnny come lately to the game outside of basketball. His Jumpman logo is equivalent to the Nike SWOOSH these days and has been for quite sometime. Once I saw Jeter and Serena wearing his logo. I knew he had crossed out of just basketball.

Why? It's quality gear and manufactured by the same folks who manufactures Nike products. Just instead of the SWOOSH, it has the Jumpman logo on it. This has been going on for a while Blue. Now you are seeing the NCAA schools start wanting his brand for non basketball sports now is all. Outside of the basketball programs. His alma mater UNC has Jump Man brand on all their gear regardless of the sport. Hell Big Baller Brand may try the same approach as well if his stuff takes off.

These kids like whatever they think is fresh. LOL. As long as it feels good and looks good. I think they are okay with it. Not like they are going to complain. I bet if you told SU football team they were getting fresh new JumpMan gear and football uniforms. They would be happy as heck.
