They're still family, besides I can't very well have a SWAC weekly prediction without all the teams.
 



Don't forget that this kid was on a Big 12 program's radar out of high school. Hopson was high on him as well. Valley have themselves a steal on there roster.

 
Congratulations Valley on your convincing win! I really don't care for Peanut Butter, I prefer Almond Butter.

I kid you not: I was in my car during my break, and I was wondering when the Valley/JSU game was. I had already made up my mind if it was during our open date (October 21st), I'd attend. UAPB has to face Southern on October 28th. I won't be able to see the battle down in Mississippi (because I'll be too busy in the stands praying we win ours in Arkansas).

Your declaration of this kid's talents is enough of a push for me to drive up to Itta Bena and see what's popping.

They still have some cleaning up to do and Valley football fans know it. You better hold on to your dollar. However, if Betts is on and the o line is at least average, crazy things can happen for them before the season ends.

Alcorn recruited this kid, but at the end of the day he committed and signed with Valley. Betts' future is bright and Comegy is a proven winner.
 



Think they wanted him to change positions because they were 4-5 deep at QB. By the time he decommitted from Kansas State, the schools that offered him were Alcorn, USM and Valley. Valley was the best place for him to have a chance to play right away. He said he should have just played QB last year
