The rumor is actually A&M to the OVC Bama st to the MEAC...I've talk to sources at both schools they both deny the rumor. A person close to A&M said it was discussed in passing but money is definitely a issue.

Well the SWAC Football 1 time champion (AAMU) and SWAC 2 time champion in 34 years (Bama St.) must be sending a message to the SWAC that Bama lives matter. I'm not sure that those two conferences can increase their bottom lines but who knows....At least they are not going to Conference USA like jsu was contemplating a few years ago.

Dude ..aint no OVC gonna take smalltime AAMU (excuse me Fiyah)... lol TNState is 90 miles from them and won't even play them. Who gonna vote for them to join?

TNSU would rather play a JSU team who they've dominated over the last decade......... Makes sense to me......

The difference between AAMU and JSU is LOT of things like our band battle, playing ANOTHER nationally known HBCU, making money and playing in from a fans who care about football. We bring waaaaaaaaaaay more fans to Memphis than they do. they lucky we still entertain them. That is why FAMU kicked them out of the ATL game.

We have not been in any need to schedule them because because we have scheduled money games to take their place. When they decide that they want a competitive game from a SWAC opponent they will beg us for one.
