"Leader of Kings"
FORT VALLEY, GA (December 22, 2016) – Fort Valley State University Director of Athletics Dr. Darryl Pope, has announced the Wildcats 2017 football schedule. The Wildcats will play a 10 game schedule, which includes four home games, five away games and the Fountain City Classic.

After, this season's slow start, hiring a new coach and coaching staff in late June and players having to buy into a new system the season took an amazing turned. The Wildcats opened with two losses, an overtime win and another four game skid. The team had to win their last two games, of which they did, before meeting Albany State in the Eastern Division Championship game on November 5th. FVSU defeated Albany State and clocked a date with Kentucky State for the SIAC Championship in Montgomery, Alabama. The Wildcats capped off the amazing season with a 33-30 overtime victory and FVSU's 12th SIAC Championship.

Lol, now this one is funny Blue,.....considering you have some real friends from the Fort on that other board.

So that means out OOC schedule is complete for 2017.

South Carolina State -home
UT- San Antonio - there
USM - there
Fort Valley State- home

That USM game could be interesting. Mullens leaves with all of Favre's records so they could be ripe. If SU could get physical with them like Alcorn did in 2014, it could stay close for a while

I thought SU was rolling off our schedule..... so right now the only school I know that rolled off is PV....

Nice schedule SU. Btw thanks to coming back to Jackson. Always great for my partners and I business lol.

Hol up........

Where are the folks who just last week looked down on Ft Valley so much to not even consider them worthy to play?

Snicker

Who said they weren't worthy to play??? But one thing for sure, they will be back in Baton Rouge like the last time they played Southern, which follows the general NCAA rule when a higher divisional school plays a lower divisional school. As you can see from below, they get no return game. It's amazing how some of our lowly FCS programs see themselves. LOL!!!

I don't know. Why don't you or a cohort show us that list or at least a quote from one of these so-called folks saying that?
