SU's 2017 Schedule

Nice schedule SU. Btw thanks to coming back to Jackson. Always great for my partners and I business lol.

Lol

Conference schedule rotation. I believe JSU came to BR twice due to a change of conference schedule

I aint about to go back and forth with u cats. We All know what was posted when atl hornet suggested scheduling games against Ft Valley, Albany. Dont try to act like yall didnt have a bunch of negative stuff to say then.
But I digress....

Merry Christmas

I thought SU was rolling off our schedule..... so right now the only school I know that rolled off is PV....
I thought SU rolled off also. However, I am glad we are playing them. I don't know who the other team is besides PV that rolls off next year.

So basically you don't have any evidence to support your claim that folks said a D2 school wasn't worthy of playing. Duly noted

Somebody need to get on their job. It makes no sense that PV has an asterisk next to it as a conference game.

That asterisk is for Senior Day. The one by Bama A&M is for Homecoming. Just meaning special game days.

Couldn't have been SU. We played them when Pete was coaching.

He's a little confused. I guess he thinks when someone says not playing them in a home and home series as a FCS opponent versus a D2 opponent is like says not playing them at all. In 2009 they came to Mumford Stadium and in 2017 they will be coming back to Mumford Stadium. The general NCAA rule is that higher divisional schools do not visit lower divisional schools, which some on here can't seem to understand.

I'm going to do my best to not spend a penny in the state of Mississippi outside of the game ticket and a drink from concessions. lol

Lol aw man we gotta leave that in 2017. Hopefully our new president won't charge the babies to enter the contest and my alma mater gets this Jaguar monkey off our back. Win, Lose, win, or draw the Jaguar Nation is invited to the M-Bar Sports Grill.

That's great man. What position will he be playing.
WR. He runs track but he plans on walking on to the football team there..he was hell bent on going to a white school but I had to change that! Took him to a Georgia Tech game, and then took him to a FVSU game. The atmosphere at Fort Valley was 100 times better than Tech, and thats what changed his mind on HBCUs.

U couldn't. 63-?? Next lol

We didnt field a football team this year I dont know what you talking about mane

I can believe that, and Fort Valley is not even winning right now. I have been to a few Fort Valley games.

Also, the coach is going to nearby high school games like Peach County. There is a lot of talent in Middle Georgia, and it would not hurt for a Fort Valley coach to recruit the area. The coach, Kevin Porter, won a state title at nearby Warner Robins as a player and should understand about needing talent. He played in the NFL, was a teammate of Bo Jackson and played when Alabama, LSU, Tennessee and Georgia were winning. Auburn also played against and defeated Florida State. when he was there.

Kevin Porter? Any relation to their former and legendary coach Douglas Porter?

I do not know. All I know is that Kevin Porter played at Warner Robins. I think that Doug Porter grew up in Memphis.

I will bet that Wildcat fans would now kill for the success they had under Doug Porter.

This must be our homecoming game.

Naw, that's too early

Not on September 30th

We know it better be on Oct 7th and not that Nov home date....

It's not unusual for schools to post a asterisk next to their conference games, if you look there is one next to all 7 conference games and it states that at the bottom.
