Is that bad? Cause according to SU fans, it was good. Cause y'all didn't have any injuries either, during the spring or during the SWAC Championship. Not having Spring practice this past season cost us a spot in the SWAC Championship.

Wrong. Not stopping Carter on kickoff returns and leaving wr's open all day cost you the spot in the SCG.Not having Spring practice this past season cost us a spot in the SWAC Championship.
You're one win away from the SCG and you blame practice? That's like losing a game by 30 points and blaming the kid that lost the fumble in the 1 quarter for it.

For arguments sake, here you go..

I'm blaming the personnel AND practice more-so. Leading up to the Grambling game we had only played three games with an entire new staff. Two of the DBs who started that game had their minutes dropped drastically after that, one never playing again and the other only playing when games were out of hand. All special teams spots were even opened back up. That game changed everything for our team. This was the week following the game we gave up 49 points to AAMU, who never came close to scoring that many points again.
My point is, had we had a Spring practice we would've never even been in that position as our coaches really only had Fall camp to evaluate players and build a true depth chart. Players would've already been familiar with the scheme and the weaknesses and habits of our players would've already been pointed out and addressed.
I'll show you the stats from Games 1-4 (sTu, Texas St., AAMU, Gram) compared to games 5-11 shortly.... They're day and night.
