Just curious if anyone from SU or anybody has an update on this young man's health situation and rehab?

Prayers up for your dad and your family.@bluedog

Thank you for providing the info. I don't have a Facebook account but the link to the story was great! I'm glad to read Devon is in good spirits & well.
My Daddy suffered a stroke on September 6th; on September 9th, en route to Little Rock, he had a seizure. But the Lord God Jehovah-rapha is a Healer! My Daddy turned 72 on October 21st & has been practicing driving on his riding mower!
May the Lord Jehovah-rapha ("the God that heals you") restore Devon back to his strength! Continued prayers for him, his family, his healthcare team, the SU & GA family, and all of his supporters!

Thanks fellas, that's good news man. Glad to see he's ahead of schedule. That kid is blessed.
where did he pop up at because im watching the replayWatched the beginning of the game he looked to be in excellent spirits. Praying for him and the family.
I hate to be that guy, but why was he wearing UGA gear and not SU stuff?

Um.....it's a UGA game. ...maybe?
This is petty.
At this point, does it really matter? He is unable to walk. UGA is closer to where he is and Dawg Nation is much bigger than Jag Nation. Plus, he's having weekly meetings with one of the coaches from UGA. UGA football program was honoring him - so I understand.
He's forever going to be loved by Dawg Nation...He's always going to be known as "Southern Football Player Devon Gales." As mentioned on College gameday yesterday.
Im just saying..all the junk yall talk on here about "f the SEC" and taking care of our own, and SWAC pride, it would have been nice to see him with a SU beenie or something.
UGA made damn sure he had on UGA gear though.
yall got it though.
