Black Missouri Football Players Boycotting Until School President Resigns

It had to do with other Black youth on and off campus as well. That thing was growing leaps and bounds like a wildfire.
All that dumb President had to do was meet with the students from the start, but one can tell that he in his arrogance and racist attitude would rather resign than do that one simple thing.
Heck, it could've been him who ordered the feces put in the restroom for all we know.

That stuff at Mizzou has been going on for years. Russ Mitchell from CBS and other TV work (a Mizzou grad) put a message on Facebook about his experiences.

A thoughtful Washington Post piece on how this happened. As a proud Mizzou alum, it's both heartbreaking and encouraging to see what's going on in Columbia. Racial issues at UM are nothing new. Anyone who went there and paid attention knows that. In the past, the administration has largely dealt with the problem with Band-Aids or borderline insulting rag tag "solutions" (when I was there one recruiting brochure for prospective black students promised "We're getting BET!" as an incentive).
Despite all this, The University of Missouri has the potential to become a wonderful place for all. Major props to those students, athletes, faculty and administrators who took perhaps the boldest move yet to being real change at Mizzou. The world is watching now.

But Jayrob, why do you think the President resigned? It was because it was going to cause harm to their MONEY ie Football/ Sports programs. Meaning those WHITE BOOSTERS and ALUMS were like that MOFO got to go. The regular black students were protesting and even some faculty were mad. One dude been on a hunger strike. It wasn't until the Football players said we ain't playing. Hitting them in their pocket books and bringing MEDIA attention to the program that could hurt them for years to come. I want to see the regular student rights stood up for and listened too. Those athletes more than likely have not been treated badly like the other black kids on that campus. Because they are considered "Special" I commend those student athletes for standing up. But lets make no mistake about it. If it had not been athletes raising some saying then the other black voices on that campus was going unheard. Where was the outrage by their alums and boosters then? They didn't care. They already think most ACADEMIC black kids are taking a slot from one of their own.

I feel bad for the other students who were being ignored until the football players took a stance.
 
The University Chancellor is resigning at the end of the year as well.....

AND YES THE BLACK ATHLETES NOT PLAYING WAS GOING TO AFFECT THE MONEY!!!!
(That is why.......things began to change!)
