We outplayed them overall... people talk about how Grambling benefitted off Alcorn turnovers but remember our defense stopped them early inside the 5 only to have a turnover (bad decision by JWill). We get the ball back on an interception that got overruled by a penalty. Alcorn scored on that possession AND a bad play by Carter in not fielding a kickoff. That gave Alcorn two scores.

So why criticize GSU for forcing two second half turnovers and scoring off them? We outplayed Alcorn the second half... blame their OC if you so choose but I rather give credit to our Defensive Staff for making the needed adjustments to SHUT THEM OUT!
 



One thing about the "Big Play" its like shooting too many 3pointers in a bball game. You may get hot that night against that particular team but there will come a night against a team that wont let You shoot all those long 3pointers or Your shot could be off that night. Great teams have a Plan B in their playbook when those 3pointers aint falling. Great teams dont turn the ball over either at crucial times.

Im looking forward to seeing Our Plan B on Saturday for homecoming and in the Dome.

Exactly Mike Biggity!!!!

I thought the object of the game was to capitalize off the other team's mistakes. That word mistake has a wide range of definitions in organized sports. But this talk about Alcorn beating themselves...how does one do that?
