Jeremy Johnson.... What SWAC school will he be at next?





Jeremy went into this season with the big head... Very arrogant.... Some even predict him to be in Heisman race.... He has flopped.... His ego won't let him go back to Montgomery and play for Bama state... But I expect him to be at a swac school... UNLESS he plays basketball for Auburn... He was Mr. Football and runner up for Mr. Basketball ( behind Mississippi state football player Derunya Wilson.)

It would make sense for him to come here. JJ really doesn't fit the offense that Gus runs. Hope he gets it together.
 
even when he was in high school.. I felt like he was a better basketball player than football.... He was suppose to play both at Auburn.... lets see if he goes back to basketball... He was a BEAST in basketball.
 
The really question should be, how many Black coaches on the FBS level that is on the hot seat? This would be a good time for HBCUs to start looking at them as potential head coaches. Liberty University didn't waste any time on hiring Turner Gill and he is taking their program to the next level.

It's more like HBCUs coaching rotation or the HBCU hookup. Didn't Grambling interview Turner Gill when they hired Doug or Melvin Spears? I still can't see those two getting hired over Turner Gill.

If you are referring to Turner Gill, he is not leaving Liberty for a SWAC school. I believe Liberty has their sight on jumping to the FBS level. They definitely have the money to do it.

The key is identifying candidates who have trained under respected coaches, had success and come from a strong tree that are still affordable
