Bama State did. We played him twice. Beat him both times. He threw 9 interceptions in those 2 games. We beat Kent every time too, but IMO, he was closer to being unstoppable than Casey.

Billy Joe had string of QB's at FAMU who I think were among some of the best in the nation each year they played.
Pat Bonner was my favorite FAMU QB who never made it to the NFL.
While at FAMU in 1998, he completed 271 of 435 passes for 3,575 yards and 38 TD's while leading the Rattlers to an 11-2 season, and it's first playoff victory since 1978. We also had the top ranked offense in the nation that season.
He still holds the MEAC records in single season passing yards, touchdowns, and completions. I never understood why he never was able to make it to the NFL.

If my memory serves me correctly, his last year against Valley was the 2OT 14-7 game they eeked out (and a 17-16 victory I believe as well). Of course the last 6 Valley/JSU were tight.

Correct, this was my first time visiting JSU. That game was definitely a shootout as we beat JSU 61-58. Kennedy vs Kent was a classic matchup
