The worst FBS attendence is the MAC and they average 15,431

Alcorn has a higher attendence than 3 schools in FBS (Akron, Ball St., and FIU)
 
Southern was in the top 10
Jackson St., Alcorn, and Alabama St. were in the top 15
Grambling and AAMU were in the top 50
 



Looking at the D2 attendance numbers and there are 5 HBCUs in the top 12 (Tuskegee, Albany State, WSSU, FVSU, Miles) plus Clark Atlanta (24), Morehouse (25), VUU (26) and Benedict (27).
 
Until every school counts attendance the same way... these numbers will never matter. These are just numbers an SID puts down in the official stats. I know two of the D2 HBCUs on the list use tickets that are not scannable..... and dont have turnstyles.... no way possible you can have an accurate count.

One would think as barbaric u make jackson seem. Jackson would lead 1AA in attendance every year. The only way jackson would beat us in attendance if and thats a big IF they sold beer again.

Has SU ever led all I-AA colleges and universities in home attendance with an average of 38,873 per game? When It comes to attendance, JSU has "Been There, Done That"!

O, JSU has never sold beer at it's stadium.

Lies!! 38,873 please!! Yall cant get that at your homecoming or in state rival games!! When i think of attendance i think about home and away. Nobody garnish revenue in the swac home and away like Southern!!

Everybody knows JSU reaches 40,000 every year for homecoming.

Everybody knows JSU vs Alcorn reaches 40,000+ when its at JSU.

You hate JSU, we get it. But instead of making yourself look stupid, it'd be better to do research instead. Better yet, just move forward and let it go especially if you know you don't know what you're talking about.

I thought SU lead in revenue...?USA TODAY did the article over a span of years, and as I remember SU was 2nd behind Famu when it came to top earning REVENUE IN FOOTBALL..

SO one has to.think if JSU has lead in attendance,, why arent you guys leading in REVENUE

CAN SOMEONE PUT THE ARTICLE BACK UP??

Actually, NCAA doesn't count classic games in home attendance unless it's within a 100 miles and a school has a 2nd home designation. Consequently in reality the SWAC average is higher than it is reported. Southern attendance will need to be adjusted as the Bayou Classic hasn't been included in the reported numbers. In even years Southern has that 2nd home designation (Super Dome) where those numbers are included. I'm not sure if it is some type of due diligence by Casem and Broussard (former AD(s) in the past that prompt the NCAA to make the adjustment.

You could be Warren Buffet offline and I wouldn't accept that drink buddy. I didn't say you attended or rep'd jSU. You shole be on every thread defending jSU more than any other school so in essence you do "rep" jSU. Now answer my question. Where did you attend?
