FCS Attendance 2014

Don't trust those numbers. At all. I don't see anything at SU(or any other school in that swac) that shows they're head and shoulders above the rest of the swac in revenue or resources.
No smack.
Exactly. Just looking at surface data is not all there is to the entire equation.

You do realized what you just typed relates to EXPENSES, not revenue. You prove your lack intelligence whenever you type something.
And you prove that you're not taking into account revenue AND expenses in the overall scheme of things. In the end, funding for expenses will still have to be counted.

Okay Einstein, what is the OVERALL SCHEME OF THINGS??? Whatever it is, it still doesn't change the fact that revenue is not an expense and vice -versa.

You know what overall means. Each school has an athletic budget that accounts for expenses versus revenue. It's called the bottom line.
How many times must this be said before you catch on?

Okay man, I guess you want me to say that we added to our revenue by eliminating a few non-revenue generating sports. But the financially correct way of saying it, we DECREASED EXPENSES by eliminating a few non-revenue generating sports.

You guys are talking budget, expenses - I'm talking revenue. Revenue is the money your program brings in from ticket sales, sponsorships, etc. Real numbers. I brought it up in this thread because I wanted to know whether the swac having the top attendance in FCS corresponds to us bringing in more revenue than the rest of the conferences. It sure hasn't led to increased success.

Since most athletic programs in the SWAC are less subsidized than those in that other conference, one can only assume that more money is being generated from non-subsidized revenue funds, such as ticket sales, sponsorship, etc. And if you compared the SWAC to FCS PWC's, I'm sure overall SWAC schools required less subsidies to fund their athletic programs.

You were forced to decrease for a reason. Now laugh at that one.
Let's see how many more programs you'll be cutting after Jindal finishes his last touchup before he leaves office.

I hope you hold your breath along with Beans waiting for that. I guess your subscription to the Baton Rouge Advocate has expired. *snicker*

I did. SU does well with its licensing and donations. All of us could do more with respect to fundraising. But again, I don't trust those numbers. JSU reported -0- for private donations for all years. I know for a fact that number is false. I never fully trust the numbers put out by the schools.

Then he needs to demand that Da Queen and her administration provide accurate numbers without getting slapped.
Demand that Jindal and his administration provide accurate budget cut numbers without getting laughed out of his office.

That would be funny if there were anymore cuts coming. Again maybe you need to re-up your subscription to the Baton Rouge Advocate so you wouldn't make as much of an ass out of yourself.
