wow dude :shame:
Halftime was always the focus at Alcorn. Glad to see SOD getting back to that as well. the SHOW reigns supreme in my book
This has nothing to do with Alcorn's sorry azz band.

AAMU can move from the #3 band in the SWAC to maybe #2 or #1 by the 2015 football season.

You can never reach #1 or #2... those two are bought and paid for.
If you think it would suck under little's leadership then apparently you think it sucked under taylor. Little is a young Taylor. The BOOM would totally suck under that dude. Meyers will have the final say. However, I think she respects Taylor enough to honor his wish IF he wants Little to have it. Wonder if dude at Valley still wants it.
We need to add 3 drums, 1 flag girl, 2 tubas, 2 French hornd, and 2 assistant band directors To move up to #2.
You need to make the BD at Talladega an offer if you want to knock SU out of the #2 spot.
When your band has questionable discipline, that notion could quickly backfire into another su/PV debacle.part of haymer's dislike by some is he brings an 80s flair where bands went at each other with trash talk....alot of these newer directors got very conservative in the mid 90s and took away the elements where the crowd was involved out of the show.....it takes alot to keep them involved and some directors began to rely on old things too much
I don't see nothing wrong with getting on the mic and bashing your opponent.......those old 80s you tube clips featured bands doing it all the time

Not true, band directors back in the 80's had friendly rivilaries. I refuse to mention SU's Band Director by name, because he ain't worthy!
Man, you folks really dislike Nate Haymer, huh?

Dude, folks were saying that about Haymer long before su played JSU. You keep focusing on what JSU folks say while ignoring the statements of folks who didn't attend JSU.When someone gets thoroughly embarrassed that is normally the case. Especially with losers
I'll just leave that right there.........And I'm GONE!
su's band wasn't cocky by Haymer's standards, but they were more respected under Doc and Jackson.SU's band was cocky before Haymer was the Head BD... he is a cool dude from the interactions we have had, but it just seems like you all do not like the man personally

simple drill/formation charted by simple minds. Ohio State send help!
Dude this is a thread about Dowell Taylor. Why is the majority of the convo about SU? Y'all are more feminine than the Victoria's Secret m
.
LOL.. He was cocky.. Nothing wrong with being cocky. Heck, JSU is cocky. We don't think ANY band program can compete with us. I have no problem with Haymer. Heck, it's funny to me to see him try so hard. Band should be fun and SU had lost that edge during the Jackson era. I am personally glad to see some of the old SU swagger back... Haymer has just added a lil bit of ignorance into the mix but that's cool too. That needs to rub off on some bands. I can only imagine how ignorant that SU-Alcorn game was with two totally ignorant band directors. At JSU, our goal is to beat ya with class. We can't be taken out of our element. Even that night in the gym, I really don't see what SU thought they had to brag about.. seriously.
