SU ain't no No. 9 seed playing above their heads....stop selling these kids short Jag

You got a senior in Tre Lynch, junior in Hyder and a sophomore in Banks who is basically a junior now...then you got size in Snow (who's been in the SWAC at 2 schools) and Keith Davis, an A&M transfer...then you add Banks and a few others all D-1 transfers....from what I've seen this year, SU is where they're supposed to be...Godfrey puts them at the top easily

Banks best coaching job was his first year.....what he has now is top 3 talent

LOL

I agree with you tbf.

HOUSTON- The Lady Tigers of Texas Southern University captured their 14th win in a row beating the Alcorn State Lady Braves 73-55 Thursday night at the HPE Arena.

The win clinches a share of the 2014-15 Southwestern Athletic Conference regular season title for the Lady Tigers who have a conference record of 16-1.

TSU carries their 14-game winning streak into the season finale showdown Saturday afternoon with the second place Southern University Lady Jaguars, who carry a 13-game winning streak of their own into the match.

HOUSTON- The Texas Southern Tigers basketball team clinched the 2014-15 SWAC Regular Season title outright by routing the Alcorn State Braves 94-73 Thursday night at the HPE Arena.
Deverell Biggs and Madarious Gibbs both scored a team high 21 points. Malcolm Riley and David Blanks chipped in, scoring 15 points each, as TSU's balanced scoring proved to be too much for the visiting Braves.

You think this game can reach that?

I hope so. Epic would be 8,200 as official attendance when our capacity is 8,100.

"Epic" was the triple overtime thriller we had against PV in 2003 (I think) with Ra'Kim Hollis playing with the flu and over 10,000 crammed into H&PE. Had to let the garage doors up to allow cool air in with the 2,000 standing room only folks we had.

Now that was "Crazy Epic"!!!

UAPB 63
MVSU 51 (W)

UAPB 94
MVSU 75 (M)

If Alcorn loses tomorrow, looks like we will have a date with the Hornets in Houston and Alcorn will have to see TSU again

SU leads 17-15....Had a double digit lead, and TSU has made a run. Will update as best I can from the table.

Just to clarify....it's the women's game.

Media timeout.....SU counters with a run with the aid of a flagrant foul.

10:06 remains in the 1st half...SU leads 23-15

So far, decent. What would be a typical men's crowd is already here. Still looks lime people are coming in. Su brought cheerleaders and i guess that's a dance team.
Yeah I hear the cheerleaders on the audio feed. Some SU alum I just spoke with are on the way there. That H-town traffic is no joke. lol
