they replaced Godfrey with a A&M transfer and added the SC Upstate and Florida State transfers...he must've meant they lost luxury

Please tell me how you got that out of my post? When I said, "all of that going on" that was in reference to the coach not knowing which players were going to stay or go during that time period, the negative effect the post-season ban could have on recruiting new players, and the motivation of the team knowing that the post-season ban was still in place heading into the season. We just had a lot of question marks.

We had the same issue Davis' first season...plus, we were not allowed to participate in the SWAC tournament.

TSU can win regular season title outright with a win tonight OR a SU loss.

Hopefully the roads will be safe enough for PB to travel to Greenwood (if they're not already there)
 
The MVSU/UAPB game scheduled for tonight has been postponed until tomorrow. Women: 11AM. Men: 1:30PM

You got a senior in Tre Lynch, junior in Hyder and a sophomore in Banks who is basically a junior now...then you got size in Snow (who's been in the SWAC at 2 schools) and Keith Davis, an A&M transfer...then you add Banks and a few others all D-1 transfers....from what I've seen this year, SU is where they're supposed to be...Godfrey puts them at the top easily

Banks best coaching job was his first year.....what he has now is top 3 talent

I agree. The only reason he didn't get more praise for finishing 2nd in the SWAC (I believe) was Valley's winning streak. To win that many games in conference your first season is a great job
