I think he is saying that as long as they are winning, it's easy to keep stuff like that under wraps. Boosters will do whatever to keep things flowing smoothly. To an extent, winning did the same thing with Jenkins with these allegations against him (for a while at least).

How? ASU had nothing to do w/anything Jenkins allegedly did at BC. If anything it helps in that the ASU compliance staff now know that they have to watch him like a hawk in regards to practice hrs., treatment of students etc. which they should do regardless of who's the coach. Secondly, w/all eyes on him now and the foreseeable future...how likely is it that any of that alleged foolishness continues? Dude's walking on eggshells. For all we know, it may be in his contract that misconduct/NCAA violations voids the contract immediately. The worst that can happen for ASU is he decides to quit or the NCAA forces him out of the profession for a year or two Ya'll reachin' lolol.
 



BCU should be in line for lack of institutional control and a few other major infractions b/c as they tell it, Jenkins ran the school. Much of it I don't doubt is true. I do know that If the coach threatened me with a knife I would never play another down there and my folks would not have let me play either. The homeless deal is an institutional problem. What was Jenkins and staff supposed to do? provide some housing, break some more rules? the school was supposed to pay for work done by trainers and such unless they had a contract with him and that likely isn't the case. transporting a player, paying for a transcript, extra practice time above what's allowed? Probably largely true. But hey there still some folks mad that darnell kennedy got to play for the hornets. wearing sneakers to get around the letter of the ncaa law? well, what does the ncaa say? did he find a loop hole and if he did don't doubt for a second that saban wouldn't do the same. I don't think any of that will go on in montgomery regardless of what he did in daytona. they understand if they have any hope to find a new conference home they can't have any more foolishness from any of their fools.

And what I'm saying, they should have reported him before he left BCU, not afterwards. I believe NCAA allows self-reporting to lessen the penalty.

Exactly....This hurts BCU more since they decided to report him after he was gone.

Is that something to brag about, especially when one Black man is berating several Black college students and even his own students? No. Right is right and wrong is wrong.
How can one justify Jenkins putting a knife to the throats of two of his players just because they were talking during a pre-game meal? That alone right there would've gotten the average man arrested.

If those players had any sense, they could've racked up a big time lawsuit.

I wonder how many of his coaching joined him at Alabama State.

Dude please. I highly doubt Saban pulled a knife on two players, not to mention other allegations.
And White people don't always stick together as said by Cee Dog, especially when it prevents other teams from getting coveted players.

What makes you think Bama State will be able to control it's coach when they couldn't even control Barlow and his illegal recruiting.
It's one thing to try and justify what this guy is doing merely because he's at Bama State.
If he was at another school, I'm almost sure Bama State folks (especially MH) would be singing a different tune.

The question you SHOULD be asking is what is this man doing with a knife in the first place while threatening players? The quote stated that he threatened to cut out their throat merely because they were talking. How about giving them some laps around the football field, but to threaten to cut their throat, and you're here trying to justify it by using semantics? You GOTS to be kidding.
